2022 Beijing Winter Olympics
I always enjoy watching the Olympics, both summer and winter games. The 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics were the first games I actively watched so the winter Olympics hold a special place in my heart. My favorite event is figure skating but I will literally watch whatever is on to hear the motivational stories. Did you watch the Winter Olympics?
The Tinder Swindler
This is about how this man swindled multiple women by catfishing them into believing he was a wealthy millionaire. I’m not going to victim blame the women involved because in the end it’s the man who did this and he should be held accountable for what he did. All I’ll say is I think it’s ridiculous what people will do for love.
The Women In The House Across The Street From The Girl In The Window
A series about a woman who is dealing with the loss of her daughter and a sudden divorce. She is left home alone until she starts getting fascinated with her new neighbors across the street. At first, you think you’re watching a normal true-crime drama series but it’s actually a parody. I think it was alright but I’m curious about the ending, I hope they make another series because I would love to see how they continue the series.

Things I Did
Digital Art
This was one of my goals for this month but I actually started practicing digital art in late January/early February. I drew some yoga cows, doodled some cows, a doll, and Frida. I’m just doing it for fun right now but who knows if I’ll ever be confident enough in my artistic skill to do more with it.
Make Stickers
Also part of my goal, I made stickers by drawing on Procreate and printing it on sticker paper. I had to hand cut the stickers but it was rewarding to see something I made displayed in my journal. You can see some of my stickers here.
What I Bought
Colourpop Makeup
After years of not buying new makeup, I went ahead ordered some new beauty items from Colourpop. I’ve been enjoying playing with different eyeshadow combinations. You can see the full haul here.
Vega Protein Made Simple Plant-Based Protein Powder
I love the vanilla powdery taste. I’ve been using it in smoothies, bars, and balls. A little goes a long way, a simple smoothie fills me up straight away!
SinfulColors Professional Nail Polish – Bitten
I give myself manicures 1-2 a week. I find painting my nails very therapeutic and I feel put together when my nails are properly made. Despite having a vast nail polish collection I didn’t have a single red nail polish because I never really like the color red. I bought this vibrant red nail polish because I heard that red is a very lucky color so what better time to buy invest in during Lunar New Year.

Ten Percent Happier With Dan Harris
In this podcast, Dan Harris interviews meditation teachers, scientists, authors, etc. As they discuss ways how to improve your mental health by learning about yourself and how to live with your anxieties in harmony. My favorite episodes feature Judson Brewer on how to break your anxiety habit and Atomic habits with James Clear.
Printable Matte Sticker Paper
I bought this sticker paper to go along with the digital art I’ve been making to create stickers. The quality of the paper isn’t the best, it’s thin and easy to create creases so you have to be careful. The reason this makes my list of favorites is that I love the idea of creating my own stickers. haha
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Firming Butter
I bought this hoping this lotion would help my skin look firm and reduce the appearance of stretch marks but it didn’t. But I love the smell of this lotion, it smells like doughnuts! I feel like a giant Krispy Kreme doughnut after I apply this lotion on!

Start a Ko-fi page
I already have a Ko-fi page but I want to properly start a page and use some of the features they provide, like commissions, shop, tiers, etc. I enjoyed having a Patreon but I didn’t like the subscription-based format of Patreon which is why I’m going to go with Ko-fi this time. I’ll make a post about this later. If you want to see anything on my Ko-fi let me know!
Perfect my protein bar/ball recipe
I’ve been trying a bunch of protein bar and balls recipes but I still haven’t found one I liked so I’ll be working on perfecting a recipe and maybe I’ll share it once I’m happy with how they come out.

Epik High was my favorite artist to listen to in high school! I haven’t kept up with their newest music or collab, but now I’m going to 🙂 And it’s awesome that your newest lotion makes you happy because it smells like donuts ♥! I love the photos of your red nails and all of the heart shaped food in the collage above! It’s really cool how you were able to resist making new make up purchases for years! Epik High is amazing! I’ve been their new album nonstop! Yeah, I ate a lot of heart-shaped sweets in February, lol. The nail polish in the photo is actually a coral color and not the red one I bought which is more of a true vibrate red. I bought a few beauty items here and there but I try to not buy a lot of makeup at a time anymore. Thank you so much! I’m not great and cooking or baking so I’ll need it! haha ♥
