What I Watched
Loki (Season 2) – Disney+
The mercurial villain Loki resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
I really wanted to love season 2 of Loki because the season trailer looked so cool! However, at the start of episodes, I was very confused because I didn’t remember much of what happened in season 1. Disney/Marvel probably wanted us to rewatch the first season but no one got time for that! I wasn’t a big fan of the first season but I do love the character of Loki! With that said, this season was fine The last two episodes were my favorite and made everything worth it in the end.
The Great British Baking Show (season 14) – Netflix
Bakers attempt three challenges each week trying to impress the judges enough to go through to the next round and eventually are crowned Britain’s best amateur baker.
The Great British Baking Show is one of my favorite comfort shows! I’ve always been a fan of food completion shows (I was watching OG Iron Chef at 6!) but baking shows are probably my favorite because I have a major sweet tooth. The GBBO just knows how to pick charming contestants with heartwarming backstories. In case you haven’t finished watching season 14, I won’t spoil who won. However, I wasn’t expecting who was chosen to be crowned the winner but I’m very happy they won because when the contestant who was completely new to baking wins GBBO it just shows that anyone can bake!

Things I Love
Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint – 19 Almond Rose
I wanted an autumn/winter lip color because all my lip products are pink, coral, or a color between those shades. I realized I don’t have any rose or nude lip colors so I went on a hunt for the perfect autumn lip shade and came across Almond Rose Juicy Lasting Tint. It’s my perfect MLBB shade but slightly deeper and makes my lips look like they were kissed by autumn The formulation is also really nice on the lips and leaves a nice tint.
Rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm – 07 Mauve Whip
Because there is something wrong with me and I couldn’t just have one autumn lippie I bought another lip product by Rom&nd. The Mauve Whip Glasting Melting Balm is another gorgeous lip color that you can wear in autumn/winter, it’s a rich rose mauve color with a hint of brown. The consistency has a slightly tacky feeling that lingers on the lips. It’s sheer but buildable so if you prefer a rich bold lip color I would recommend you layer 2-3 times. I prefer the juicy lasting tint over the glasting melting balm but I’m glad I have both lip products in my makeup collection!
Pastel Lettuce Edge Ankle Socks – A New Day
I was on the search for some cute ruffle socks but couldn’t find any on Amazon so I checked Target and found these adorable pastel socks with a lettuce trim! They come with 6 pairs and the whole set was only like $6! Such a great deal!
Pink Duvet Puffer Jacket – Wild Fable
As much as I enjoy winter and the colder season I always struggle with trying to find a jacket/coat that doesn’t restrict my movement, keeps me warm, and that I can wear over sweaters. This pink puffer jacket from Target checks all those boxes! It’s the perfect jacket for me and gives off ballet-core vibes!
