☆ This has been a very stressful and emotional week for me. Last Thursday, we took Lucy to the vet for her routine visit and to check out a little lump on her right side, I mentioned this at her last visit in early Spring and they told me to monitor it in case it grows. Her vet took a sample of the lump to see if it was serious, as of now I have yet to hear anything back so I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. During our visit, I told her veterinarian about this and they prescribed her some coughing tablets which I’ve been giving her twice a day but it hasn’t helped. Lucy is a Pomeranian and trachea issues are common in Pomeranians especially as they age. We still have plenty of options to try but hearing Lucy constantly cough/hacking has been heartbreaking.

☆ I’ve been obsessed with watching Blythe doll customization videos on YouTube. Doll-making is a creepy hobby that I’ve always wanted to get into but it seems like such a complicated activity and doll-making isn’t a cheap hobby. I have an old Blythe doll that’s been through a lot (one of my sisters butchered her hair and she now wears a wig to hide her embarrassing haircut lol) but I’ve wanted to do some alterations to her like sanding her face, adding makeup, and making her a new pull string because her current one is messed up. If I make any of these changes, I’ll report back.

Sorry to hear you are having a stressful time and Lucy has been poorly. It’s so tough when our pets are sick but you are doing everything to help her and she will know that. 💖 I hope you get some answers soon.

It’s a hobby that I would love to return to and found it was very relaxing. Even if my creations came out super creepy, it’s an awesome way to have some non screen time and be creative. 😅
The hair re-rooting part was always most difficult as it’s so time consuming and doesn’t always turn out right lol. The main thing is have fun with it and there’s a huge doll community out there with tutorials and ideas.
Her coughing has gotten better, I think the cough tablets I was given are starting to work!
I’ve been binge-watching so many Blythe customization videos. My older sister had a Blythe doll too (she gifted me mine) which she would change the eyes of, she did a pair for my doll but that’s all customization my doll has. I’m definitely going to give my doll a makeover! I might film the process so I can post it on my YouTube channel. I’m looking into hair re-rooting videos but I think I might take the easy out and buy her a new wig. haha
