Emily in Paris (season 4) – Netflix
A young American woman from the Midwest is hired by a marketing firm in Paris to provide them with an American perspective on things.
I swear Netflix is the master at creating guilty pleasures. Emily in Paris is another one of these shows like Bridgerton that I can’t help but to hate watch. It’s cheesy and has its problems, but it’s shot so beautifully and makes me miss Paris. The over-the-top fashion is sometimes tacky and I can’t stand most of the charaters, however, I always get excited when a new season is available on Netflix. What series are some of your guilty pleasures?
The Umbrella Academy (season 4) – Netflix
A family of former child heroes, now grown apart, must reunite to continue to protect the world.
This is the final season of The Umbrella Academy and I, for one am glad! This series started off strong and I enjoyed the first season but I feel like they jumped the shark a long time ago I kept watching hoping the series would get better but sadly this season just made me realize that it was time to let this show go as I felt like it lacked direction. Did anybody else watch The Umbrella Academy?

Things I Did
Crocheted dolls
In the past two months, I’ve been asked by a few people to custom crochet a few items, one of those (well technically two) was dolls. I used to crochet dolls all the time when I had an Etsy shop (back before Etsy was as popular as it is now). It was fun to crack into my safety eye collection and snip yarn ‘hair’ strands. One of the dolls was inspired by an artist I never heard of that goes by the name of Baby Miko. She came out really cute! Things I Love
HEM Coconut Incense
My older sister surprised me with a care package with a bunch of scented incense, my favorite was the HEM Coco incense! I’m not a fan of earthy or woodsy incense I prefer floral or unconventional scents that smell like foods and this coconut intense smells exactly like coconut! This is also my first time using incense cones. In my opinion, I feel like cones are more messy than sticks, maybe if I make another cute incense holder it will change my mind. haha
OLIPOP Barbie Peaches & Cream
I love the Olipop Barbie flavor! It tastes just like Peaches & Cream it’s so sweet, creamy, and fresh! If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend it!
Second-hand clothing shopping
I’ve been really lucky scoring some amazing second-hand finds this month. I mainly shop on Depop but I have also bought on Poshmark and ThredUp. I especially love it when I’m looking for a specific piece of clothing and I find it for a very low price! Buying second-hand clothing has been so fun, it’s almost like a game or treasure hunt! 💖 Thank you for reminding me about Emily in Paris! I might have to resubscribed to Netflix now to watch S4, especially since spooky season is fast approaching for all of the Halloween films.
I haven’t seen Olipop here but will keep a look out for it. I’m a sucker for fun flavour drinks and especially if it’s Barbie! heheh.
That’s nice that you are finding some good second-hand clothing. I don’t seem to have much luck here as the clothes in charity shops are not very clean or looked after and smell musty. I went to one on Monday and there were mountains of clothes.
You have a nice collection of clothes on Depop, I bet your Adidas trousers will sell soon. Buying / selling online here is difficult as we are on an island so we tend to buy local and many things are hard to get.
I used to enjoy going to car boot sales in England and one of my best finds was an Adidas jacket which cost 2 pounds. I still have it!
The second part of Emily in Paris season 4 comes out in mid-September so if you’re planning on resubscribing to Netflix I would wait until it’s released so you can watch the entire season 4.
I don’t live around any cool thrift shops either which is why I do all my second-hand shopping online. I always throw the clothing items in the washing machine as soon as I get them because I’ve received some clothing with a musty odor before and as someone who is a slight germaphobe this makes me feel safe. I mean you should always wash your clothing no matter where you buy it from but I feel like when you’re buying used items this is the first thing. you should do. ♥
I’m so excited that the second part of Emily in Paris came out last week, so I’ll definitely be finishing it next week! It’s 100% cheesy, but it’s a feel good show with minimal stress, so I love it! Hope you have a happy September xx
