What I Watched
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story – Netflix
Betrothed against her will to King George, young Charlotte arrives in London on her wedding day and faces scrutiny from the monarch’s cunning mother
In anticipation for the next part of Bridgerton season 3 to drop, I tried to give Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story a try. It’s not that I didn’t like it but just that I didn’t feel as connected to these charaters as I am with the rest of the Bridgerton cast.
Bridgerton Season 3 (part 2) – Netflix
The eight close-knit siblings of the Bridgerton family look for love and happiness in London high society.
I was really excited to see the rest of the Bridgerton season 3! It was a lot more dramatic and spicier than the first part. I was slightly disappointed with the ending, I felt everything was tied up a little bit too perfectly and would’ve appreciated more of a tease at the end. I’m curious as to how the next season will be.
H2O: Just Add Water – Netflix & Amazon Video
Three girls become mermaids after a mysterious island transforms them and gives them special powers.
In search of mermaid inspiration, I decided to rewatch a childhood favorite, H2O: Just Add Water. Not everything in this series has aged well but I was a preteen when the first season came out so I felt a lot of nostalgia watching this series. In the US, you can watch the first season on Netflix and the rest of the series on Amazon Prime. I’m currently in the middle of season 2 so I haven’t finished watching this, I don’t think I ever watched season 3 because I heard they replaced one of the main girls and I didn’t like that, haha. But I’m open to giving it a try this time!
The Bear Season 3 – Hulu/Disney+
A young chef from the fine dining world returns to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich shop.
I didn’t like this season of The Bear. I felt this season tried too hard to be artsy and came out looking pretentious with the camera shots and music curation. I also didn’t like the number of cameos this season. Last season the celebrity cameos they had were fun and surprising whereas now it feels like they’re just adding in people for the heck of it. I LOVED the last two seasons of The Bear and was excited for this season but it was just boring, lacked direction, and tried too hard.

Things I Did
Made a motivational deck
After making a few motivational cards for my Ferris wheel photo display I decided to make a full deck! I filmed a whole video about the creation of this deck. It was such a fun project and I feel so connected to this deck as it features a lot of my favorite things, colors, drawings, and they’re on my old business cards. It’s such a ME deck and I’m so proud of it!
Painted my desk lamp
This year I’ve been bringing new life to a bunch of my old items around my room (like my piano bench) and this time it was my desk lamp turn. I enjoyed painting this lamp that features strawberries, cows, and flowers. It came out super cute and now proudly sits on my desk!
Worked with Kodak
One of the highlights from June (and of this year) was working with Kodak on this project. I was elated when I was reached out to by Kodak and they wanted to send me this camera. I was so happy with how the project came out but felt pressured to create a video that would impress the people over at Kodak and from what I heard they were!!

Things I Love
Prism Oracle
I’ve been loving using the Prism Oracle deck every day in June so I’m continuing to use it in July. I tend to do this anyway because I like to form a connection to my decks, but still. I love that each card corresponds to a different color. As someone who loves working with this color playing with this deck has been very inspirational.
HelloPaperCat Stationery Haul
My recent stationery order from HelloPaperCat was filled with so much joy! I filmed a short video which you can watch here. I recently attached a bunch of the stickers to my new bullet journal and can’t wait to hang some of the prints (specifically that Kuromi maths print!) in my summer mood board!

I used to love h2o when I was younger! Maybe it’ll be a new comfort show for me, I’m currently doing a rewatch of the show GREEK, which was an ABC family tv show I used to love! They have the show on Hulu. I’m glad you had a better reading month in June. A 5 star rating!? I actually have a copy of tomorrow, tomorrow, and tomorrow, but haven’t read it yet. I think I’ll add it to my september tbr (I’m trying to get through a lot of my standalone romances for the summer!) Happy July xxx

H2O is such a comfort watch! I remember seeing promotions for GREEK on ABC Family but I never watched it.
I was really nervous to read Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow because it’s such a popular book and I know a lot of people who love it and I tend not to like what everyone loves but I LOVED it! I need to buy a physical copy so I can reread it! ♥
