Last year, I wanted to explore the world of foams and hair mousse to use on my curly hair. As much as I enjoy the hold of hair gels, some of them can feel heavy on my fine hair. I discovered the Lottabody Wrap Me Foaming Mousse because, at the time, it was the #1 selling foam/mousse in the hair category on Amazon. I had never heard of the brand Lottabody but based on the hundreds of positive reviews and the very affordable price, I decided to try it out.
I found the Lottabody Love Me 5-n-1 Leave-In Treatment as it was recommended to me based on my previous purchase. I’ve used the mouse for a year and the leave-in treatment for a couple of months. I’ve been using both of these products, together and separately. What are my thoughts on these hair products? Keep reading to find out!

MY EXPERIENCE
The Lotttabody Foaming Mousse comes with a nozzle head that creates a foam, so I would say it’s more of a foam than mousse based on the application head. Going forward, I’ll be referring to this product as a foam. It has a lovely vanilla scent that I love! It’s very moisturizing and hydrating! When I apply this foam to my hair, I can feel it nourishing my hair. I know some people with fine hair say products containing shea oil can weigh down their hair, but this foam doesn’t do that to my hair at all! The foam contains very moisturizing ingredients that you can feel as soon as you apply this product throughout your hair, making your hair feel nourished and hydrated. Whenever I use this foam, my curls feel soft and bouncy!
When dried, there is a subtle cast but it doesn’t require too much fluffing to break said cast. The hold isn’t the best. However, it’s also a wonderful styling product to use on refresh days because it’s not heavy.
The best part? It’s super affordable! It’s under $4! In fact, this is my third bottle! This mousse has become one of my favorite hair products and my go-to styling product, I use it whenever I want a good hair day because I know I will get amazing results! I highly recommend this product!

MY EXPERIENCE
The Lottabody Love me 5-n-1 treatment comes in a spray mist, making it easy to apply to the hair. This 5-in-1 product is said to detangle and condition, protect against heat, add moisture and shine, prevent split ends, and tame frizz. I’ve used this spray leave-in together with the matching foaming mousse and with other curly-friendly hair styling products. Similar to the foam, it’s a very moisturizing product, however, with this leave-in, I do think it was a bit too heavy for my fine hair. Whenever I would apply this product to my hair, I felt like it dragged down my hair due to the moisturizing oils used in this product. If you have a thicker hair type or even a curlier hair pattern (though I think anyone with any hair type can use this leave-in), I think this would work perfectly with your hair!
Unfortunately, this wasn’t a new favorite and I won’t be repurchasing it but I’m glad I tried it. I want to try out more products from Lottabody, especially from their Coconut & Shea Oil line as the foaming mousse was a surprising product that is now one of my favorites!
