It’s time for a new seasonal mood board! I feel like it was just yesterday when I was putting together my Spooky Autumnal Mood Board but now that it’s the holiday season and close to winter I wanted to put together my winter mood board. I’ll probably only be keeping this mood board for a few weeks as I want to make a New Year’s mood board for 2025 possibly before the New Year but if not January for sure. As you all know, I’m not a Christmas gal so as soon as Christmas is over I plan to take down all my decorations asap! But for now, I’ll try to enjoy my Christmas/winter mood board because tis’ the season!

Theme: Christmas, winter, ice, lights, penguins, coffee, tea, holiday treats, crochet, memories
Colors: light and dark blue, white, pink, latte brown, red, green
Starting from the top left corner, earlier this year when I was cleaning out my old desk to make room for my new desk I found a whole stack of Happy Mail from A Beautiful Mess that I want to incorporate more into my bulletin board. This now says “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have” – Maya Angelou, the teddy bear, and moon shake die cuts are from Hello Paper Cat, the Ice Queen print is by Sharodactyl, the Christmas bunny die cuts and the narwhal print is from Oh So Fawn.
At the bottom-left corner, are two designs from the Angel Shoppe, the ‘poo monster’ dashboard is from Hello Paper Cat, and I crocheted the fluffy stocking, mince pie plushie, and the gingerbread house.
What I Bought In ItalyOn the top right side corner, I have some mugs, the red one is a postcard and the other is a cutout from a boxed hot cocoa set I bought while living in South Korea, there is also a white gift bow, more Christmas die cuts from Oh So Fawn, and a cute polar bear card.
In the center-right, I have a Mooey snowcow drawing I made, another print from Oh So Fawn, a stocking die cut from Hello Paper Cat, a knitted gingerbread house by my older sister, a granny square, a little piece of wrapping paper with Lucy’s name on it, an espresso print from Italy, an Alpacasso tag and a Pastel Elixir tag.
At the bottom-right, I have a Little Twin Stars print from Hello Paper Cat, a Japanese mailbox Christmas postcard, another Christmas bunny die cut from Oh So Fawn, some postcards, a candle die cut from the Angel Shoppe, and a coffee cup charm from LoveNeen.
At the bottom of my mood board, I have my sock and mittens garland, this may be my absolute favorite garland I have ever made and I don’t even like Christmas! haha
How do you decorate your desk for winter and/or Christmas?
