☆ I’m not a Super Bowl person as I’m not one for sports but we did get some movie teasers and trailers and an epic announcement from Queen B! The Deadpool & Wolverine teaser was released and I’m so hyped! Bring on the X-Men, baby! Wicked also dropped their first look which I’m also pumped for! I listened to the Wicked soundtrack when I was in high school so I can’t wait to watch this film, especially with Ariana Grande playing Glinda! My new goal is to read the Wicked book by Gregory Maguire before I watch the film. Out of all the Super Bowl commercials, my favorite was the Verizon with Beyoncé. I love how she announced new music in the commercial, act II of RENAISSANCE! If anybody can make me like country music, it’s Beyoncé!

☆ This week was big for Marvel fans! Not only did Marvel Studios drop the Deadpool & Wolverine teaser trailer but they also announced casting news about the Fantastic Four reboot and a trailer for X-Men ’97! Hopefully, these projects turn the MCU around. Are you excited about any of these Marvel projects or are you fatigued by the superhero genre?

I didn’t watch the Super Bowl (saw heaps of stuff about Taylor and Travis though – and about SpongeBob’s coverage of it ????) so I didn’t hear about the movie trailers! I’m SO excited for the next Deadpool movie! I loved the first two, and I honestly can’t believe he got Hugh Jackman to come back to play Wolverine again. He’s easily my favourite X-Men character and I can’t wait to see them star in a movie together ????
I’ve never seen the original Fantastic Four – although I’ve heard some pretty bad things about it – but I’ll definitely watch the new one. After learning Pedro Pascal was going to be in it I thought I’d give it a try, but I just read JOSEPH QUINN is going to be in it too (and I *love* him – I’ve got tattoos based off his Stranger Things character!) so I’ve got to see it now ????
I’m a huge Marvel fan so I’m always up for watching anything of theirs that I think looks or sounds interesting. They really nailed some of the TV shows – just finished Loki which I thought they did really well, and I really hope they do more Moon Knight because that was AMAZING – and I really liked the latest Ant Man and GotG movies too. Marvel is close to my heart!
Epic commercials and new movie trailers always drop during the Super Bowl which is why many people who don’t watch football enjoy it. I watched a few minutes of the SpongeBob coverage, and it was weird. lol
I only watched the first Fantastic Four (with Chris Evens!) and I don’t remember it but I’m excited to see the reboot with all the new casting choices! I love Pedro Pascal! ♥
