☆ This Maintenance Phase episode on whether or not you need 10,000 steps is interesting. I mean, how many of us are so focused on trying to get their 10k steps daily? Maintenance Phase is a great podcast if you’re interested in health and wellness fads and want them debunked. I highly recommend it!

☆ I’ve been trying to brush Lucy daily because one morning I woke up and Lucy’s fur was all over my room. Lucy is a pomeranian so she has fur for days so I try my best to keep up with excessive shading by brushing her a few times a week but found this pomeranian blog (because of course I did) and it has a lot of useful information on how to care your pomeranian or if you have a fluffy dog with pomeranian-like hair. Would you be interested in a post on Lucy’s favorite beauty items like the grooming supplies I use on her or would that be ridiculous? haha

☆ I’ve been writing a gratitude list daily in my journal. So far, I’ve written one every night for the past four days. Everyone says writing down what you’re grateful for makes you feel better and appreciate life and I agree it does!

Hi, Michelle! Gotta agree that gratitude journaling is so helpful. I used to list 3 things I was grateful for that day and 1 thing I was proud of myself for, and I did it for several months and it was lovely. Can’t remember why I stopped lol But thanks for reminding me I should start doing that again!!

I start my gratitude page by writing down 3 things and if I feel like adding more, I will. I once stopped gratitude journaling because I felt like the things I wrote down were becoming repetitive but I’m going to see how long I can keep up with this practice. ♥
