For the past couple of months, I haven’t bought many new curly-hair products because I currently have a lot of hair products in my stash that I’m working my way through. So, I haven’t been buying as many new curly hair products unless I really really need something. This haul is composed of curly hair products that I acquired over the past few months. Like my previous hair haul, I’ll be reviewing the products that I’ve used enough to form an opinion and giving my first impressions of the rest.

Ethique Professor Curl Solid Shampoo for curly hair
Specially formulated in line with curl care principles, Professor Curl is a pH-balanced, solid shampoo bar that gently cleanses without drying out your curls. Made with a nourishing blend of ingredients like shea butter, betaine (from sugar beets), and cocoa butter, Professor Curl will help promote soft hair and defined curls.
You won’t find any sulfates, silicones, waxes, or drying alcohols in this dreamy little bar. Instead, you’ve got a solid shampoo that is equivalent to three bottles of salon-quality goodness that lathers like a normal shampoo for fresh, bouncy curls.
To top it off, Professor Curl solid shampoo is infused with an uplifting aroma of creamy coconut and invigorating lemongrass and smells just divine.
Review: I received this back in December as a Christmas gift but forgot to include it in my past hauls so I’m including it this time around. This is a solid shampoo bar that you use in the shower with water, wait for it to lather, and rinse off. I’ve actually used some of Ethique bars before, I bought one of their sampler packs a few years ago. Back then, I found the shampoo bars really drying and I didn’t feel like my hair was properly clean. I’m hoping that because this bar is specifically designed for curly hair that they made this solid shampoo extra hydrating and conditioning. As of writing this post, I have yet to use this shampoo bar but will write a review when I do!

Aussie Miracle Curls Curl Refresher
HOLD THE CURL. So you were blessed with coils, but also the frizz that comes with them? No worries! Tame your mane, not your style, with Aussie Miracle Curls Curl Refresher Spray Gel.
Silicone free and infused with coconut and jojoba oil, this spray gel holds your curls in place while eliminating frizz for that bounce, definition and oo-la-la-ness your locks deserve.
Review: I’ve only used this refresher a handful of times and when I did I didn’t like the results. However, a lot of the reviews I read mentioned that this product is amazing so I’m willing to give this spray a few more chances before deciding if I love or hate the product.
They say that this product can be used on all types of curly hair but Aussie has since released a line designed for coily hair and wavy hair so if you have tighter or looser curl type you may want to check out one of those lines instead. They also have a Miracle Curls 2nd Day Curl Activator! I’m very curious to see what the difference is between the refresher and the activator. If you tried either one (or both) of these products let me know!

Aussie Miracle Curls Curl Defining Oil
FREE THE CURLS. Frizzy and dry curls crying out for a miracle? We’ve got you covered.
Miracle Curls Curl-Defining oil treatment, infused with coconut and jojoba oil, instantly absorbs into hair and seals cuticles to lock in hydration, reduce frizz and add shine. This paraben-free, rich formula will give your curls the softness they crave!
Review: The consistency of this oil is between a serum/oil. It isn’t stinky or too oily and you only need a tiny bit as a little goes a long way! For me, it’s a little bit heavy as my hair can get easily weighed down so I don’t use this all the time, just on my wash days when I want a soft yet shiny curly-haired look.

Sleek Shampoo Brush
I always thought that using a scalp brush would tangle my hair because I have thin curly hair but this shampoo brush didn’t! I use this brush to massage oil onto my scalp. It feels so nice! The bristles aren’t too sharp or dull, it’s perfect to use with any hair treatment. I massage in a circular motion and then lightly brush my hair back to avoid any tangles. I bought this for under $2 at Walmart but I also found it on Amazon for $5.

Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve
An intense pre-shampoo treatment, rich in proteins that targets hair bonds to strengthen and repair from the inside out.
Review: I’ve only used this treatment twice. I’m torn because the first time I noticed amazing results with my then limp curls and how they strung up right away! However, the second time I didn’t notice much of a difference. I think I still need to try this product a couple more times before giving it my seal of approval. I also want to see if leaving this product on for a longer time (the bottle says you can use this anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour). I’ve only used it for under 30 minutes but I’m curious to see if leaving this treatment on longer makes a noticeable difference in my curl pattern.

Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil
Our Rosemary Mint scalp and hair oil is a nutrient-rich, intensive formula meant to help you address your hair concerns. From nourishing hair follicles, smoothing split ends and help with dry scalp, this hair oil uses natural, organic ingredients and essential oils to provide the care your hair deserves. Use it on protective styles, including braids and weaves, and enjoy its fresh, invigorating scent during your next hot oil treatment.
Review: I started using this rosemary oil back in February. I use it twice a week and leave it on for about an hour before rinsing it off. I double cleanse when I’m washing it off to make sure I get all the oil off. This oil gives a slight tingle to your scalp (probably the mint) but it feels so good! This is one of those products that you have to wait a while before you can feel results. It’s been slow process trying to see results but I have definitely noticed new hair growth forming around my scalp. One bottle has lasted me 2 months and I will definitely be repurchasing another bottle!

It’s such a great oil! I’ve tried both and prefer the light version as I have thin hair. ♥
