For years, I’ve been searching for skincare products to help me achieve that dewy “glass skin” look that you see many Korean models showcase in skincare advertisements. At one point in my life, I used daily sheet masks because I once read that an idol with gorgeous luminous skin said that they wore a sheet mask every day so I tried it too, and my skin definitely looked amazing! However, in this dayand age, daily masking isn’t the most budget-friendly option.
I also want to note that to get clear glowing skin, it’s going to take more than just a couple of skincare products. You also need to have a healthy lifestyle, drink lots of water, and avoid things that dry and wreck your skin like eating junk food, and excess alcohol and caffeine consumption. But I would be lying if I said a healthy diet is all that is needed to get fresh shiny-looking skin. There are some skincare products that can help you look more lustrous than others and today I’ll be reviewing two products that are marketed towards getting “glowing radiant skin” from Purito Seoul. If you ever wanted to acquire that hydrating glass skin, you may want to stick around!
The Purito Mighty Bamboo Panthenol collection is designed for those with all types of skin, including sensitive skin. Panthenol, commonly known as vitamin B5, effectively restores the damaged moisture barrier to be healthy and firm. All of their skincare products are vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, synthetic-free, and use gentle ingredients that improve the skin barrier.

MY SKIN TYPE
My skin texture is pretty clear and smooth, and I don’t suffer from any major skin issues. I do have mild Rosacea. I still get some redness but it’s not as bad as it was a few years ago. With that said, I do tend to gravitate towards products that are marketed towards reducing redness as a way to combat rosacea flare-ups.
My skin type is somewhere between normal and sensitive. I get both dry and oily areas across my face, but it depends on the season. I do have large pores and blackheads, especially around my nose area, and rarely experience any breakouts. I’m not sensitive to any particular ingredients (that I know of), but some of the most random things break me out. I do experience redness when I apply certain products but it goes away within a few seconds.

PURITO Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Serum | 1.01 fl oz./30 mL $22.00
Panthenol and Korean Bamboo-infused serum delivers intensive care for strengthening the skin barrier.
INGREDIENTS
Water, Panthenol (13%), Glycerin, Propanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Squalane, Bambusa Vulgaris Extract (3,335 ppm), Ectoin, Allantoin, Carbomer, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Cetearyl Olivate, Tromethamine, Sorbitan Olivate, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Sorbitan Isostearate, Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate
MY EXPERIENCE
I thought this serum was just okay. I’ve tried better serums from Purito and other K-beauty brands. The serum was moisturizing and hydrating, and non-sticky. However, I didn’t notice any noticeable changes, and it didn’t give me the noticeable “glass skin” look like the cream did. I’m also not a fan of this type of bottle for serums because I feel like the liquid gets caught around the top part of the bottle. Plus, the amount you get for the price isn’t the best value.
