It’s been a while since I talked about beauty, hasn’t it? I haven’t lost my passion for makeup or skincare but it’s just that my obsession with stationery has surpassed beauty, haha just kidding (kind of)! I’m also guilty of using the same products over and over again. But I promise to post more beauty posts in the future. Today, I wanted to share the latest additions that I’ve added to my skincare routine that I’ve been testing out. I have five products, some Kbeauty and some that you can find in the drugstore.
NYX Micellar Water Stripped Off
My younger sister recommended me this micellar water to use as a makeup remover. I don’t have much of an opinion on this product yet because it’s only been a week since I’ve started using this product.
E.L.F. Beauty Shield Vitamin C Pollution Prevention Serum
E.L.F. has been stepping up their game lately! Their latest skincare line caught my attention because of the holographic packaging but when I read that they had a vitamin c serum I was intrigued. What I love most about this serum (so far) is the dropper applicator. You press the top of the applicator and it dispenses the serum.
Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 76 Premium Hydrating Serum
I’ve been trying out more products from Mizon because I’m such a fan of their sheet masks. I went with this Hyaluronic Acid 76 Premium Hydrating Serum but after trying it for two days I’m not a fan. It doesn’t absorb properly and feels like a tacky film is resting on my face. I actually stopped using this which is why I bought the E.L.F. vitamin c serum.
Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream
The other Mizon product bought was an eye cream which I wasn’t a fan of either. This eye cream just doesn’t hydrate my eyes enough! It’s more watery than creamy and when it comes to eye creams I prefer a creamy moisturizing one.
Banila Co Clean It Zero
A cult favorite! To be honest, I’ve never been interested in trying this product but I was looking for a new Kbeauty cleaning oil to try this Banila Co Cleansing Balm popped up and I thought, why not? There is a variety of Clean It Zero Balms to choose from but I went with the original because it’s for those with normal skin which I have. I’ve only used it three times but my first impression of it is that it has the consistency of solid coconut oil but not oily.
