What’s In My Makeup Pouch ♥ Summer 2017

Now that I am back from my summer trip I can show you all the makeup I took with me to Mexico. I usually write all of my summer posts before I end up leaving on vacation but this year I forgot to take pictures of what’s in my makeup pouch so I am actually going to share what products I took with me and whether or not I used them. I’m actually pretty impressed with myself because I used 95% of what was in my pouch.

For my face, I brought two concealers, The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer to cover up spots and the Essence Pure Nude Concealer for my dark circles. I also took two cushions just because I knew I would get bored with using the same cushion. I did order a new cushion for this trip but it didn’t end up arriving in time so I took my Holika Holika x Gudetama Photo Ready Cushion because I took it with me to Mexico last year so I knew that it worked well with the climate. The second cushion that I took was the A’PIEU Wonder Tension Moist Pact, out of the two cushions I used this one the most.

I took the Etude House Fix and Fix Primer Tone-Up in Mint but only ended up a few times, still glad I took it though. Another Etude House product that I took (I brought a lot along with me) was the Etude House Play 101 Stick Contour Duo. To blend the contour duo I took the Missha Water In Sponge, my new favorite sponge! I also took the mini Tarte blush that I got in my Sephora birthday gift. I ended up using the blush more then I thought I was so it came in handy after all.

Last year I took so many lip products most which I didn’t end up using. I made sure only to take a few of my favorite shades and only one new lip product. To prep and protect my lips from the sun I used the Sun Bum Coconut Lip Balm with SPF 30. Out of all of my lip products I decided to take the NYX Liquid Suede in Tea and Cookies along with the matching NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner, this is my favorite lip color and product from NYX but I actually didn’t end up using the lip liner at all! I also took the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Solow. The Peripera Airy Ink Velvet in Pretty Orange Pink was my newest lip product so I decided to take this along with me too.

For my brows, I took my trusty Etude House Drawing Eye Brow in #2 Grey Brown. To prepare my eyelids for eye shadow I used the Wet N Wild Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer. I brought my Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette to use as my eye shadow because it’s travel size and has a lot of different shades. I wish I would’ve brought another palette because this palette doesn’t have enough browns. As for my eye, I took the E.L.F. Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black. I didn’t like this eyeliner when I first started using it but the more and more I used it the more I got used to it and now I love it! I used Etude House Play 101 Pencil in #8 to line my waterline to make my eyes appear larger. For my ageyo-sal I used the Etude House Tear Drop Eye Liner in #3 Pure Sparkling Pearl. For mascara, I took the Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara. Since taking this mascara I can now say that I prefer the false lash effect mascara more than this one. Last but not least is my heated lash curler. I don’t use regular lash curlers because they make my lashes fall off easily so I use a heated curler to curl my eyelashes.
