In my previous Winter mood board, I mentioned that eager to make a new mood board for the new year but I decided to keep up my winter mood board for the entire month of January instead so that I could appreciate it. However, once February arrived I finally changed my mood board for the New Year. Because the theme is ‘New Year’ I have some prints and pictures of things I hope to accomplish in 2025. Some are obvious like travel, create, and Blythe dolls but some things are deep cuts that may only resonate with me.
If you’re interested in my mood boards and would like to see my past mood boards you can view all of them here. I’m also trying more to record my mood boards so you can take a closer look at what’s on them.
Theme: New Year, 2025, travel, Blythe dolls, cute animals, bright colors, outdoors, picnics, bears
Colors: bright colors, pink, hot pink, gold foil, blue, yellow, green

I used three big prints that I received in the A Beautiful Mess Happy Mail subscription they had years ago. I have so much of their stationery from their Happy Mail subscription that I recently found that I want to use in my mood boards, these three prints being some of them. The middle print was my inspiration for this moon board, it says ‘THIS IS MY YEAR’ in gold foil. The print to the lower left says “What is it you plan to do with your one wild & precious life?” a quote from Mary Oliver and the print at the top right says “CREATE THE THINGS YOU WISH EXISTED.” that is the vibe I want to embody in 2025!

On the upper half of the mood board, I have a print of the Spanish Steps from Rome, a Tiny Plant forest print, and a postcard from France. I also have a peace-out tag, a teddy bear cut out with a ribbon on top, a bunny popsicle die-cut, and a bear picnic card. I also have propped up my Save The Animals Blythe card, a Sanrio family tag, and a keychain I got in Paris.

On the lower part of my mood board, I have some Blythe business cards from Chu_Things. I also have a Whimsical Cat Studios tag, a cow sticker, a Burano postcard, a unicorn card, a workout Elodie die-cut, a Frida keychain, a pomeranian die-cut, a postcard from Seoul, a crocheted witch broom, a picture of a baby Michelle (2nd grade Michelle) to remind me who I am on the inside.
At the lower bottom, I have my trusty stripe garland that I have a free crochet pattern of here. After making so many mood boards I realize this is my most used crochet banner. I need to make a new one if anybody has any suggestions let me know.
Do you keep a mood board? How do you make your mood boards?
