★ I got a new iPhone over the weekend! I upgraded from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 15 Plus. I needed a new phone because my storage kept getting full and my battery was quickly draining to the point that I had to charge my phone twice in a day! I blame all the video content I’ve been working on. I’m happy with my new phone as now I now have double the storage and a better camera! I’m thinking of even making a return to YouTube but I’m not sure what type of videos I would want to post, if you have any suggestions let me know.

★ This Tuesday my pom pup, Lucy turned 10 years old! I published this post and made this video to honor her. If it weren’t for Lucy I wouldn’t be here right now, I know it may sound macabre but it’s the truth. I’m not shy about talking about my mental health problems and in the past 10 years I’ve had a series of ups and downs. Whenever things got too rough Lucy would always be there, with her innocent face. When I cry, she licks away my salty tears. I knew that I had to stay for her sake, I’m the one who walks her, bathes her, plays with her, takes her to the vet, carries her up the stairs, sleeps with her, the one she spends the most time with. When things go too much I kept thinking, I have to stay alive for Lucy. I appreciate her more than she’ll ever know! As she gets older, it scares me because I know that one day the inevitable will happen, which I know will be the worst day in my life. For now, I will spoil her rotten and spend as much time with her, because every day with her is truly a blessing and I’m so lucky to have her.

★ I’ve been listening to a lot of The Stars Made Me Do It podcast. I used to listen to this podcast a few years ago but stopped for some reason. I recently started listening because I want to learn more about astrology and I’ve been loving it! The hosts are very knowledgeable about astrology and they talk about things in an unbiased way which I appreciate as I believe that every sign has its strengths and weaknesses. If you’ve been looking to learn about astrology I highly recommend this podcast and their Back-to-Basics series if you don’t know where to start.

Whatever that macaron thing is in your photo (a notebook?), it’s gorgeous ????
Ever since I started making TikToks, my storage has also been filling up SO quickly, it’s ridiculous! I try to record multiple a day, so they stay on my phone for a while until I upload them, and the space they take up is enormous – not to mention the app itself has gotten bigger?! The App Store says it’s much smaller than what my phone says it is, so I’m not sure how to fix that. I know I’ll need a new phone soon, but they’re so expensive and I don’t have a job right now ????
10 years is a big birthday for a dog, but she could still have a while to go yet! Pets can do wonderful things for our mental health, and I’m so glad she’s been there for you all these years, it’s great that you’re still here ❤️ I hope that, if you need it, you’ll get another animal to help you through the tough times because I know Lucy wouldn’t want you to go through those battles alone. But, as you said, just continue showering her with love in the meantime!

Yeah, I would record a video, edit it on my iPad, and then delete everything on my phone after everything was transferred to my iPad. This is one of the reasons I hate making videos as it takes up so much space and battery on a phone and that annoys me. I’m thankful I was able to upgrade!
I hope Lucy lives a long life! She’s pretty healthy but has issues with her anxiety, as do I. I know many people who have pets and once they pass away they never want to go through the loss of another pet ever again but I want to take care of as many pets for the rest of my life! If I can bring joy to a living creature for its entire lifetime then that’s well worth it to me! ♥
