It’s been a minute since I shared a mood board. Last year, I only changed my mood board ONCE! I kept telling myself I would change it for Summer or Spooky season or Christmas but I never changed it! I’m so ashamed of myself but to be fair I adored my Valentine’s Mood Board and didn’t want to take it down. haha
Because it’s a new year, I thought now was the time to make a new bulletin board to set the mood for 2024. The Kiki’s Delivery Service calendar is a free printout that I found on Instagram. The theme of the mood board was supposed to be ‘breakfast with bears’ but I kind of got carried away but there is a big food theme going on. The main colors are yellow, pink, peach, and lavender. I tried my best to incorporate shades of purple because it’s one of my favorite colors and I like to work lavender into everything. haha
Starting with the left side, I’ll quickly go over everything that’s on my board, the shark hydrate print is by BrightBat, I crocheted the cow keychain, the bunny hot chocolate mug is a cut-out I got from a cute hot cocoa box from when I was living in South Korea, the Suga packet print is from HelloPaperCat, the fruit print is by TinyPlant and so is the print below it, the bear macaron die cut is by Stationery Heaven (i think they changed their shop name because I couldn’t find a link), the Seoul keychain is from a friend, the Lo-fi study art print is also by HelloPaperCat, the Eevee keychain is by Love Neen, the cake print is from The Day, Bom, I wrote the ‘trust your vision’ post it, a pink coffee cup (I don’t remember where it’s from), the cute strawberry girl print is by HelloPaperCat and so is the teddy die cut, and the cutout is from a box of my favorite chamomile lavender tea.
On the right side, we have a white teddy that I got for free with something I ordered online, the brunch print is from A Beautiful Mess, the juice box print is by Tabetaaii, the panda rainbow die cut is by Stationery Heaven, I don’t remember who made the cake slice print, the Hello Kitty cut-outs are from cute packaging I saved, the tea cup keychain is also by Love Neen, the Sailor Moon tea and pomeranian die cuts are by HelloPaperCat, the pink Korean print is from Daiso Korea, Lucy’s old dog tag, and the honey bear postcard is also by A Beautiful Mess from when they had their Happy mail monthly subscription.
At the bottom of my bulletin board, I like to attach a crocheted striped garland (I didn’t realize it was the same banner that I had on my previous board, lol) that’s available for FREE in my crochet patterns page. I used a strong tape to attach and secure the banner to the bottom and sides of the bulletin board.
How often do you rearrange your bulletin board?

Oh, if I had room I could SO make a mood board for each month! This is SO cute and would be so inspiring to look at whenever I don’t know what to make – or even when I’m just down and want to look at something colour and happiness-inducing! I am in the middle of a big de-clutter and re-organisation of everything, maybe I’ll try to make space for one. OR, do my other idea: a mood/vision scrapbook! That way I can keep making new pages as I feel like it and not lose the old ones!

Yeah, that’s the point of these mood boards, to inspire me! My bulletin board sits over my desk so I constantly look at it when I’m working. I just made a vision board in my journal but I won’t be sharing it online because it has some personal stuff I want to keep to myself but I took a picture of it and keep it as a background on my phone and desktop so I’m always looking at it, it’s also very bright and colorful. haha ♥
