☆ Over the weekend, I watched Julie & Julia which I had never seen before. In the film, Julie (Amy Adams) vows to cook every recipe in Julia Child’s (Meryl Streep) first cookbook which she documents via Blogspot. The foodie and blog nerd in me absolutely loved this film! It made me yearn for the old blog days. It also makes me want to cook or bake everything in a cookbook in a year, possibly a new series?

☆ This week whilst I was practicing yoga I realized how much my wrists have strengthened. My wrists used to get really sore when I did plank-style moves so I would avoid floor exercises. But lately, I’ve been including more plank exercises into my workout routine, just for fun! It wasn’t until earlier this week that I noticed this subtle change but I’m so proud of myself! I used to get really frustrated with myself because I wanted to hold myself up for longer but my wrists would just give in and be sore for a few days. Remember to listen to your body and take breaks when needed but don’t be afraid to challenge yourself. It’s truly amazing what happens when you are consistent and patient with your progress.

☆ Cartoon Network is bringing back Summer Camp Island for the Summer! Seasons 1-4 of Summer Camp Island are available on the CN app right now! I’ve been keeping the show on in the background at night (because I can’t sleep in the dark. lol). This is one of my favorite animated series because it’s so wholesome and cute and deserved more love! Even though it’s a children’s series, if you’re a kid at heart (like me) then you will adore Summer Camp Island!
Julia Pott (the creator of the series) is also sharing The Summer Camp Pitch Bible where she shares lore and behind-the-scenes of the making of Summer Camp Island.

☆ Yesterday, my older sister hosted a happy sister fun time gettogether, coloring edition! She even made us gift bags with cute coloring supplies, stationery, and snacks, I also got that bag of Baby Yoda ground coffee! We ate pizza, colored in coloring books, played with her puppy, played video games, and got tarot readings. It was a wonderful time! Spending quality time with my sisters truly makes me happy!

I used to get carpal tunnel all the time from a previous job and because I used to crochet a lot so I’m really proud of my wrist strength improvement!
Thank you! I’m really enjoying The Blue Castle but it has made a cry a few times because I find the main character so relatable. ♥
