Now that we’re a few days into Autumn, I created this list of activities you can do during the Autumn and spooky season. Take advantage of the lovely scenery and brisk weather by participating in a few of these indoor and outdoor activities.
– Go to a pumpkin patch
– Go apple picking
– Bake an apple or pumpkin pie or mini hand pies
– Make apple crisp oatmeal
– Crave a pumpkin
– Paint a pumpkin
– Visit a haunted house
– Visit a corn maze
– Go on a hayride
– Go leaf picking and then press the leaves in a book
– DIY some Halloween decorations
– Learn how to crochet or knit
– Crochet/knit a blanket (it’s an easy project if you’re a beginner)
– Drink a seasonal beverage like a pumpkin spice latte or apple crisp macchiato
– Go on an autumn nature walk
– Make an Autumn playlist
– Watch a scary movie
– Make candy apples
– Give your closet a deep clean and store your spring/summer clothes away
– Wear plaid or flannel clothing piece
– Switch up your skincare routine (add more layers or use a thicker moisturizer)
– Go rockhounding
– Make a bucket list of things you want to do this Autumn
– Wear a plaid print or a fun Halloween design mask
– Go on a nature walk and see how many changes you can spot in nature
– Listen to spooky podcats
– Decorate your space with autumn or Halloween decorations
– Try a seasonal flavored food like pumpkin, apple, and/or cinnamon treats
– Make some pumpkin spice seasoning. You most likely already have these seasonings in your pantry already.
– Rewatch your favorite Autumn series (my favorite is Gilmore Girls!)
– Light some seasonal candle scents
– Collect some pinecones (make sure you ask the forest spirits for permission before lol)
– Read a thriller or mystery novel
– Start a quilt (would make a lovely gift for the holidays)
– Listen to this rainy autumn coffee shop ambiance in the background
