I’m back with an updated mood board, this time summer edition! I wanted to post a summer board but I’m already looking forward to posting a Halloween/Spooky mood board as I have so many prints and things prepared! However, I did want to use some of my prints that I haven’t used in a while that aren’t spoopy-related so I decided to create a summer mood board.
Mood boards are a visual collage of images, notes, texts, quotes, art prints, postcards, and anything else that I feel like adding to my bulletin board that resides over my desk. I use these as a way to relax my current style, they are a relaxation of my mood during a specific season. You can take a look at my past mood boards here.
I’m currently in a very girly pastel kawaii mood (but aren’t I always?) so I wanted to make this mood board really girly but there also happens to be a theme of doughnuts, Paris, Disney, and video games. In terms of colors, there are a lot of pinks and purples with hints of white and blue.
Starting from the left side, the Nintendo DS print is by Vickisigh, the Paris postcard is from a gift shop in Paris, the I Can’t Do Maths print is by HelloPaperCat, the My Little Pony print is by DorkFaceCreates, Tabetaaii business card, a doughnut birthday card, and the teacup ride postcard is from a shop at DisneyWorld.
I crochet the NewJeans lightstick keychain, the heart keychain is from Moonella Studio’s kawaii box, the Paris keychain from a gift shop in Paris, a unicorn die cut (the shop that used to sell this closed), and the Elodie and the BT21 die cut are also from HelloPaperCat.
The 90s makeup print is by HelloPaperCat, the mini DVA card is by Sharodactyl, the moth print is by Michelle Coffee, the ‘some bunny loves you!’ card is by TinyPlant, a Disney castle print (shop closed too), a TWICE art print by HelloPaperCat, a donut card, and the Seventeen Magazine print is by also HelloPaperCat.
I crocheted the cow keychain, the Frida charm by LoveNeen, the Anna keychain from Disney, a panda rainbow and unicorn die cuts (shop closed), a Milklim clothing tag, and lastly, the Wooloo and Elodie balloon die cuts by HelloPaperCat.
At the bottom of my bulletin board, I like to attach a crocheted striped garland, I kept this garland as I’m currently working on a new garland, hopefully I’ll finish it before the end of summer as it’s summer-related. For now, I’ll be keeping this garland up because it’s the perfect size for my bulletin board! haha
Do you have a mood board?

Your summer moodboard looks so fun!
I put mine together in my bullet journal every few months, and it’s definitely inspiring to set the tone for a particular season of life (:
