☆ I posted my first crochet vlog on my YouTube. It was fun to film and not worry about filming every part like I do with crochet tutorials. In the vlog, I decorate another Kindle case, this time inspired by fairy kei with soft pastel colors, fluffy clouds, and colorful decorations! I also make an Aries Moon baby (seen above) and reorganize my yarn shelf. I can’t wait to make more crochet in the vlogs because I actually enjoy it.
I’ve been wanting to start an Astrology Moon baby plush series where I crochet all 12 zodiac signs during said zodiac season, yes, this project will take one whole year to complete! Aries is the start of the Astrology calendar so I thought now would be the perfect time to start this series. This time next year, I will have all 12 Moon babies in a circle in different colors. It’s something to look forward to.

☆ I published my first book review this week! It was a really fun experience and I hope I have more opportunities to review more cute books by independent authors or bigger companies, I’m also open to that too! haha

☆ This Wednesday we celebrated Mother’s Day early because my mom is leaving for Mexico this weekend and she won’t be here on actual Mother’s Day. It was nice to catch up with my family members and plan future trips together.

☆ This week, I tried out a new hair mousse (it’s more of a foam) and had to share my first impressions with you all! It makes my curls look volumized, defined, and curly without feeling weighed down. One of my hair goals this year was to test out new mousse/foams for my curly hair and this one is the best-selling mousse on Amazon which is strange because I’ve never heard of this brand before nor have I heard any curly-hair influencers talk about this mousse before but because it was so affordable I decided to give it a go because the reviews were positive. I’ve only used this product twice but so far I’ve been loving it! I don’t like to review products without trying them out for about 2 weeks but I made an exception for this product!

I love talking about all things beauty but right now I’m really focused on my curly hair and love expressing my love for it when I can but I feel like it’s such a niche topic because not everyone has naturally curly hair but I’m glad you enjoy reading about it! I actually just bought another new mousse that I can’t wait to talk about it in a future post! ♥
