What I Watched
The Crown (Season 6) – Netflix
Follows the political rivalries and romances of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign and the events that shaped Britain for the second half of the 20th century.
The final season of The Crown! I’m so sad to see this series come to an end. I’ve loved this series since the first season I watched, yes it’s not 100% historically accurate but I found it very entertaining! I wished they wouldn’t have rushed the seasons because there are probably hundreds of other episodes they could’ve made.
Darling Desi – Youtube
Just a creator and filmmaker who enjoys making aesthetic and vintage inspired slow living videos 🙂
I discovered the Darling Desi YouTube in late November/early December. Her videos are so fun, aesthetic pleasing, and just a joy to watch because she romances life in a way I wish I could. The first video I watched was of Desi visiting bookstores in New York which I found delightful!

Things I Did
Crocheted Cozies for my Kindle
After not crocheting anything new in what seems like forever! I finally made not one but two cozies for my Kindle Paperwhite! One was a pink panda cozy and the other was a 3D-style book and tea set. I have a few more Kindle cozy ideas but I don’t want to have a whole wardrobe for my Kindle as I only have one! haha
Started Posting on TikTok
I started posting again on TikTok in December. I was getting frustrated with IG reels and my short videos that require so much time, editing, and phone space not getting any views so I was on the verge of deleting all the videos I made for my reels on my phone but then decided I would post them on TikTok to see what happens. I get more views on there than I do on Instagram! So, I’ve been working on putting more effort into my TikTok page. I still hate TikTok (at this point I hate all social media), I just log on to post my videos, leave, and check the following day to see how my video performed. I’m not sure if anything will come from this but I’d rather try and fail then to imagine what could’ve been. I’m also debating posting my short videos on my YouTube channel but I’m not sure if anybody even watches YouTube shorts, I mean I don’t. Go follow me on TikTok if that’s your thing, if not you can also see the same video on my Instagram reels section.
Worked with clay to make gifts
For Christmas, I handmade some gifts using air clay. I made a cow incense holder for myself, a tarot card stand, Palo Santo mug, and a cookie incense holder. You can see everything I made here. I’ve been wanting to work with clay and get into ceramics as a new hobby and I can’t wait to make more things this year! If you have any tips let me know.

Things I Love
Pastel Journey tarot by Vanessa Somuayina
I mentioned that this was my favorite gift I received on Christmas and it’s been fun using this deck the few days since Christmas. I can see myself using this deck for most of 2024. It’s such a beautiful deck! The colors, the images, the sliver edges, it’s the perfect deck! I love it so much!
Faux Leather Loafers
This was another Christmas gift! I wore these on New Year’s Eve with white ruffle edge socks which looked so cute! The day I tried these on I thought they were too snug but I wore them all day on NYE and didn’t have a problem so I must have broken them in, haha! I can’t wait to wear these more and style them with more of my pastel-colored lettuce hem socks! haha

Holy crap, I saw your crochet tea set on IG today but didn’t realise it was a Kindle sleeve! That’s amazing!! And your pink panda sleeve is super cute too! I also crocheted a Kindle sleeve; it’s just a plain checker pouch, but I love my checkers haha. idk how links works in your comments & I don’t wanna spam your site, so I’ll IG DM you a pic of mine later!

Thank you! Yeah, I wanted it to look like a little crocheted set that doubles as a Kindle cozy! haha
