It’s that time of the year again! The time you have to slather on sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. Summer is the time when the sun is at its brightest, which means your skin is really vulnerable to getting burnt. Today I’m sharing some facts you probably didn’t know about sunscreen and the sun. Hopefully, these facts will make you think twice before heading out the door without wearing sunscreen. If you want more sun protect facts check out this post that I wrote last summer.
Most sunscreens start developing and working 30 minutes to an hour. So make sure you apply before you head out in the sun. Don’t be one of those people who apply whilst at the beach because you can (and probably will) get burnt.
Reapply Every Couple of Hours
Sunscreen wears off every few hours so make sure to reapply sunscreen throughout the day. Especially, if you plan on staying outside for a long time.
No Sunscreen Doesn’t Equal Tan
I feel like a lot of people assume that if you want to get tan you shouldn’t wear any sun protection but that is not true at all!

I always forget to reapply it every 3-4 hours haha. I guess I need to start packing sunscreen and carrying around with me! 🙂 Thanks for great tips, Michelle. And do you mind recommending me some korean brand sunscreen products? I would love to know what's your favorite brand! 🙂

I really like the Missha sunscreens! My favorite is the all around essence! They're lightweight and make reapplying easy. <3
