I’ve always been a Korean sunscreen girlie since the day I tried my first Korean sunscreen, or “sun lotion” as they’re regularly called. Most of you have probably tried a chalky sunscreen from the drugstore, the ones that are thick in texture, have that recognizable sunscreen scent, burn the eyes, and leave a visible white cast. Long gone are those days, as Korean skincare has changed the skincare market with their revolutionary sun care skincare! I’ve tried various Korean suncare products, but today I’m focusing on one brand’s suncare products, PURITO SEOUL.
PURITO SEOUL recently released their newest sunscreen, the Sun Day Adventure Sunscreen. I was fortunate enough to receive an early version of the PURITO Sun Day Adventure Sunscreen, so I thought I would not only review this sunscreen and compare it to all of PURITO’s sunscreens, as I have tried all of their suncare products, minus their new sun stick which I didn’t know existed until I was researching for this beauty review! I’ll be reviewing the PURITO Sun Day Adventure Sunscreen, the DAILY Soft Touch Sun Lotion, and the Wonder Releaf Centella Sun Lotion. I’ll also be comparing the three sun care products and describing which is the best for your skin care needs so you can figure out which sunscreen or lotion is best for you.

MY EXPERIENCE
I’ve been using this sunscreen for almost a month now. It does everything that it says it does. It’s a lightweight creamy sunscreen that dries instantly to a soft finish and doesn’t leave a white cast. It’s gentle enough to be used around the eye area without irritation. It provides a natural glowy finish that doesn’t make you look oily or greasy.
I’ve been using this as my morning moisturizer, and it leaves my skin feeling so soft! When I go to cleanse my face at night, my skin feels so soft! It also doesn’t irritate my eyes when I cleanse my face at night, which is a bonus! This product doesn’t just make a wonderful sunscreen but it’s also a fantastic moisturizer!
I had two downsides with this product. One, you only get 50 ml as compared to the other two sunscreens from PURITO which come with 60 ml so you’re getting 10 ml less product for the same price. The other gripe I have with this sunscreen is the packaging, it’s a bit plain. I know it shouldn’t matter and it’s not a big deal breaker for me as the product inside is amazing! When I first received my copy of the PURITO Sun Day Adventure Sunscreen, I was surprised by the plain packaging and thought they would change it. To my surprise, they didn’t. At least the other sun lotions by PURITO had some color in the packaging but this tube is boring to look at.

MY EXPERIENCE
Out of the three sunscreens products I;ve tried, this is the one I used the least. I’m not an outdoorsy person but with that said, I really enjoyed using this sun lotion! The consistency is lovely, it’s a bit like a runny milk lotion and it’s very hydrating! It dissolves into the skin smoothly but it takes a few minutes for it to dry. This sun lotion leaves a subtle dewy finish that makes you look a bit too shiny but it’s not a bad look.
Upon application, it didn’t sting the eyes; however, when met with water, it did start to sting the eyes but nothing that makes you look like you’ve been crying. When cleansing at night, it does sting the eyes but not too much. With that said, it is supposed to be water resistant, so yeah.
I do think that they labeled this sun lotion wrong. I think the name “Sun Day Adventure” suits this sun lotion better than the Sun Day Adventure Sunscreen suits the title “Daily Soft Touch” better as it did leave a soft touch finish rather than this sun lotion did, but that’s just my opinion.

MY EXPERIENCE
Out of the three sunscreens, I used this one the most because, as you all know, I struggle with redness, and this sunscreen is designed with that in mind as it is part of PURITO’S WONDER RELEAF CENTELLA line. It’s very similar to the PURITO DAILY SOFT TOUCH SUNSCREEN in formula and consistency. The PURITO WONDER RELEAF CENTELLA DAILY SUN LOTION was designed for a city climate to protect against harmful UV rays while creating a barrier against urban pollution and fine dust. It’s lightweight and glides on smoothly like a body lotion. It doesn’t leave a white cast but does leave a subtle dewy finish. It’s ideal for those who struggle with redness or sensitive skin.
The only thing that I dislike about this sunscreen is that it stings the eye area like crazy! This was my go-to winter sunscreen, but unfortunately, it made my eyes water most of the time. When met with water, like when I cleansed my face at night, it stung my eyes badly too. So, I try my best to avoid applying this sun lotion around the eye area to prevent any burning.

FINAL THOUGHTS?
If you want a dewy, glowy sunscreen and want a stunning natural glow, I recommend the Sun Day Adventure Sunscreen. If you’ve been looking for a sunscreen that doesn’t burn your eyes, this is the perfect sunscreen!
If you are someone who spends a lot of time outdoors and wants extra protection when outside, I recommend the Daily Soft Touch Sunscreen. This would make a wonderful sun care product for summer!
If you struggle with redness or have sensitive skin and/or live in the city and around a lot of pollution, I recommend the Wonder Releaf Centella Sunscreen. Be careful when applying this un lotion around the eye area, if you have a sensitive eye area.
I’ve used so many sunscreens, and I can say without hesitation that PURITO SEOUL creates some of the best sun care products that I have used. If I had to choose one out of the three, it would be the Sun Day Adventure Sunscreen because I love the dewy finish, and that it doesn’t sting my eyes which is important to me. In the end, the most important and beneficial thing you could be doing for your skin is protecting your skin from the sun.
Have you tried any of these sunscreens? What’s your favorite sunscreen?
