Gift Card Cozy ♥ Crochet Pattern

I have a great last-minute DIY that you can crochet in minutes! If you are giving a gift card to someone this Christmas this DIY project will add a warmth handmade touch to your gift. Enjoy!

You will need
– Yarn (you can use whatever colors you want)
– H/5.0 mm hook
– Yarn needle
– Scissors

Abbreviations

ch – chain

sl st – slip stitch

st(s) – stitch(es)

sc – single crochet

*If something doesn’t seem right let me know and I will try to fix the pattern.

Pattern
– Ch 11, start with 2nd ch from hook, sc 10 sts. Total =10
– Ch 1, turn, sc 10 sts (30x times). Total = 10
Cut off, weave in ends

Fold your crochet piece in half and sew the two sides closed with the scallop lining I mention below.

To create the scallop lining insert your hook (I changed to smaller hook size) at the bottom of one side and slst so the yarn stays in place. Next, ch 3 and slst in the following st, repeat until you reach the end of the row.

Lastly, you can crochet design on your gift cardholder. I decided to make a snowflake but you can choose whatever design you want. You can even personalize the cozy with the name of whoever is getting the gift card. Then you are finished!
