1/7 I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! I received a lot of cute gifts, ate a lot of yummy food, and hung out with my family and puppies! My older sister’s boyfriend brought over his dog, Gohan, and he and Lucy met for the first time! It was so cute even though she barked at him quite a lot. 🐶💕
2/7 For our family Christmas party, I made mincemeat tarts and I made my own vegan mincemeat pie filling! They don’t sell mincemeat filling here in the US (at least I’ve never seen it) and it costs $10+ for a tiny jar on Amazon so I attempted to make my own because I’m a DIY girl at heart. I created my own recipe by looking at many recipes online and writing down ingredients that kept being repeated and adjusted to what I already had in my kitchen. I wrote down the recipe so I could remember it and maybe publish it next December. Do you like mincemeat tarts/pie?

4/7 Is anybody else joining Yoga with Adriene’s CENTER 30-day yoga journey? Or Boho Beautiful 31 Days of Yoga? Last year, I did both at the same time but this year I decided to start with Yoga with Adriene and in February I’ll continue with Boho Beautiful. I actually practice yoga every day because I follow Yoga with Adriene’s monthly calendars and end my workout session with a yoga video as a way to stretch my body, this makes me feel amazing both internally and externally.
5/7 I’ve decided that in 2023 I’ll be entering my villain era! Don’t get me wrong it’s not as negative as it sounds. This post explains the villain era concept and how we should all be embracing our villain side. I’m reclaiming my self-worth and not letting others treat me like ish in 2023 😈

7/7 We finally reached the end of this series! Don’t worry, I will be continuing with a weekly series but under a new name because I like to freshen up these weekly posts every year. The name came to me in early autumn so I’ve been sitting with the new name for quite some time. I can’t wait to debut the new series next Friday!
I also want to give a huge thank you to anybody who has ever read my blog posts or commented on either my blog or any of my social media. It means the world to me! I always read every comment and try my best to reply. Those comments and messages are what keeps me going and one of the reasons I continue to blog. I’ve been blogging for years and at my most depressed I questioned leaving everything behind because I thought no one would miss me. But after everything I’ve gone through, I still love blogging. I never force myself to blog, everything just flows out naturally and I create posts that I myself would be interested in reading with cute images that would draw me it, I create for myself and that’s enough to continue with blogging.
The best way you can help me and my blog is to comment on my posts and share posts that you enjoy on your social media. If you think someone will love my blog then share it with them. It would be the best end-of-the-year gift for me! 💖
🎉🎊🥳Happy New Year! See you in 2023!🥳🎊🎉

Happy New Year, Michelle!
It’s been such a joy to continue reading your blog this year. I just love peeking a glimpse into how others live. Yesss to entering your ‘villain era’! I’ve been working so hard in recent months to set and keep to boundaries, and it has made such a difference. No yoga challenge for me this month: I’ll just be working to new PBs at the gym, and getting back into my beloved Pilates! x
