What happened this week
A lot has happened since my previous Dear Diary post. Obviously, the Black Lives Matter movement is the biggest subject I should address. I didn’t post anything last week because I wanted to bring attention to everything that was going on and spread awareness. There are so many resources out there to educate yourself on this movement. If you haven’t already I beg you all to look into what’s going on right now in the black community and stand up and with them. We are stronger together.
In other news, I went to the Dentist for the first time in years last week. I haven’t been to a Dentist in a very long time so I was a bit hesitant to book a visit because I was scared of what they might find. Thankfully, it wasn’t anything dramatic. I need to get my wisdom teeth out and some fillings but nothing too dramatic.
This week Georgia held it’s Primary Election. Of course, I did my part by showing up to the polls to make my voice heard. It’s so important to vote! If you want to see a change in your country then VOTE! If I have any young readers that aren’t registered to vote then please do. I know it may not seem like a big deal to you at this age but it does.
