It’s that time again where I share my favorite lifestyle and beauty items from the previous month, aka monthly favorites. In June, I started reading for fun again, discovered new skincare products and some new accessories for my phone.
Innisfree My Real Squeeze Sheet Masks
I was searching on Amazon for some new sheet masks that I haven’t tried yet and found these by Innisfree. I’ve tried some sheet masks from Innisfree before but with different packaging. My skin felt so soft after 15-20 minutes! The set came with 18 masks for $19 which is a steal!
The Ordinary Buffet
A couple months ago I ordered my first products by The Ordinary. I ordered three products but the one that gave me the most noticeable results was Buffet. It’s an anti-aging serum that helps combats premature signs of aging. After a few days of using this serum, I noticed that my skin looked more firm yet bouncy.
3D Transparent Glitter Heart iPhone 7 Case
My old iPhone 7 case started chipping so it was time to replace it with a shiny new case. I found this adorable case on Amazon for a few dollars. It’s super cute and sparkly!
Bluetooth Headphones
Cordless headphones are life-changing! I’m someone who is constantly wearing headphones because I’m always listening to music or podcasts but when the cord gets caught on something it throws off my grove so I bought these. The only annoying part is that they only last a few hours before you have to charge them again.
Disney Ufufy Plushies
Ever since Ufufys debuted in Japan I knew it was going to be a Tsum Tsum 2.0 all over again! Since I didn’t have space to feature all of them I just choose my favorite Ufufy, Marie. The Disney Store is currently selling them 1 for 2 so if you are interested in starting your Ufufy collection now is a perfect time!
Lifestyle Blogging Basics – Laura Lynn
I really want to start taking blogging seriously so I bought this book about lifestyle blogging written by Laura. To be honest, this book was recommended to me through Amazon but apparently I follow her blog on Bloglovin but I didn’t know she had released a book. It covers a lot of important topics about blogging that I found really helpful. I found Laura’s “How I failed at…” sections really inspiring. This book was published last year so it covers relevant topics such as how to work with brands, social media and connect with the blogger community. I would recommend this book to those who want to start a blog or a blogger who wants some general advice on blogging.
Reasons to Stay Alive – Matt Haig
Another book that I started reading was Reasons to Stay Alive. Such a bold title I know. The book is about Matt’s story about his journey with depression. I could relate to a lot of Matt’s feelings and found some of his advice really helpful. He mentions that working out regularly really helps him with his depression which is the same for me, that’s why I set goals for myself. I’ve started collecting books dealing with mental health to help me with my depression and anxiety so if any of you have any recommendations I’m all ears!

I love that you've taken up reading again! It's difficult to find time – sometimes I don't read for weeks – but I think it's so worth trying to carve out whatever time you can to do it, as there are so many great books out there to be read! I'm really glad that you're trying to help yourself through your mental health struggles, and I hope books on those topics end up being helpful for you 💕
