On the eleventh day of 12 Days of DIY, I crocheted for you, a Van plushie! If you are a BTS fan then you have probably heard of the LINE FRIENDS X BTS plush collaboration, BT21. Each BTS member created their own character TATA (V), RJ (Jin), CHIMMY (Jimin), COOKY (Jungkook), SHOOKY(Suga), MANG (J-Hope), KOYA (RM), and VAN, an extra character that is supposed to represent BTS’s fan ARMY. You can watch the whole process of them creating their characters here. Van was the only character not created by the members of BTS but the LINE staff thought it would be nice to include the fans in this project thus Van was born!
BT21 is currently being sold in pop-up shops in Seoul and New York. As much as I would like to buy some BT21 merch looking at how popular BTS is at the moment I doubt I will be able to get anything anytime soon so I decided to crochet my own! I choose to crochet Van first but I might go back and crochet every character because they’re all so cute! Let me know if you would like me to make the rest.
If you crochet this project, you can post it on Ravelry or tag me @mooeyscrochet so that I can see your creation. If you want to learn how to crochet, watch my crochet how-to video here. If you would like to support me for making this crochet pattern available for free, you can buy me a Ko-fi. Check out all of my free crochet patterns here and my shop to see my original crocheted items.

Assembly
Sew the body closed. The body will look like a square but after sewing the legs and arms it will become more round. Next, lightly stuff the legs and sew each the grey leg to the grey side and the white leg to the white side. You will be sewing the legs starting from the edge to the middle. Van has a thigh gap so leave some space between the legs.
Next, the arms, lightly stuff the arms and sew each piece to its correct spot. Sew down the arms starting from the top of the body. Repeat on the other side. Finally, securely sew the head on top of the body. Make sure to align the head with the body properly.

Ch 10 sts, sc 10 sts, turn, sc 10 sts. Total = 20 sts ??? I am having a tough time understanding what you mean.
Michelle V says
Ch 10, sc 10 blo (back loop only), turn, sc 10 flo (front loop only). Total 20 sts
Each side of the chain should have 10 sts which equals to 20 sts. Hopefully, that makes sense. Sorry for the confusion. ♥
