As promised here are the first few pages from my bullet journal. I was really nervous at first because I didn’t want to ruin my Leuchtturm 1917 journal. But remember it’s just another notebook! Today I will be showing you guys the first 11 pages from my journal. They’re simple and not anything amazing but I hope you enjoy it anyway!
This is my key guide. I decided to go with circles to represent my tasks. I’ve seen dots and squares used for tasks but I picked circles. I like how you can shade half of the circle to represent that you at least started your task. I didn’t decorate this page that much because I was really scared of messing it up.
Next, are the monthly overview pages. I was pretty happy with how these pages turned out! I added the remaining months of 2016 along with important dates and holidays. Is there any important dates I’m forgetting in August?
On the left side, I made a spending log to track whenever I purchase something. On the right side I drew in a June tracker for all of my daily habits. So far I’m failing miserably!
Here is my June calendar. I love these monthly calendars because it helps me keep track of all my blog posts better this way. It’s pretty empty right now because I haven’t filled in my summer posts yet, I didn’t want to spoil anything for you guys! I made a mistake by adding an eighth column which I will use for notes and doodles.
Here is my first attempt at a weekly spread. I didn’t want to start off with a fancy banner so I just tried cursive and a slight arrow. I did make a mistake by separating all my days into sections beforehand. Next week I won’t do this because some days aren’t as busy as other days. I’m also thinking of changing my hydrating chart to something else but not sure what. Any ideas?
Last but not least I added a fun page! I saw this floating around on Instagram and thought it would be fun to participate in. You basically draw a picture a day every day in June. The theme for this month is summer. I colored my pictures with colored pencils for a bit of personality. It makes this page much more exciting!
Do you want to see more bullet journal pages? If so, what should I name this series?
