During this time of year, I start getting addicted to two things, tea, and candles! The warmth and lovely scents of the candles just make me feel relaxed. So far this month I’ve bought many candles so I thought it would be fun to share what scents I will be burning up this year!
Bath and Body Works are my favorite candles because they’re strong and they always have sales going on! Last year I picked up the Vanilla Bean Noel, a creamy blend of vanilla bean, rich cocoa, and sweet cream with a touch if caramel and brown sugar. However, I bought it after Christmas and wasn’t able to light it up that much so I’m bringing out this year in hopes that I will be able to finally use this candle!
Every year Bath And Body Works comes out with new winter-themed candles and this year my favorite is Vanilla Snowflake! It’s a blend of creamy vanilla, wintry mint and a dash of coconut! It’s pretty similar to Vanilla Bean Noel but this one has a slight minty scent and is much stronger then VBN.
During the Black Friday, Yankee Candle was having a 3 small candles for $10. I had never had a Yankee Candle jar candle before so I went ahead and bought some cute flavors! I bought two Christmas candles, Snowflake and Christmas Cookie and Strawberry Buttercream because I heard this smells amazing. I’m going to try to use the cookie candles this month and save the Strawberry Buttercream for spring.
I wanted some Merry Marshmallow candles but they were sold out online! So I went to my local Yankee Candle store and they didn’t have any displayed anywhere so I asked one of the workers and finally was able to get some Merry Marshmallow mini candles! I can see why this scent is so popular! It’s a delightful mix of marshmallows and creamy vanilla! If I can find a larger size I will buy it!
