I never know if I have enough items to talk about for my lifestyle favorites posts. Thankfully in October I wrote down a few things that I was drawn to such as books, video games, magazines, and coconut oil. To find out more about these items read down below.
Pokemon Art Academy:
I believe Art Academy was one of the first games that Nintendo released for Nintendo DS and now Art Academy has returned but there is a twist a really cute twist! This time around you can draw and paint your favorite Pokemon! I absolutely love this game because I am a very artistic person and the sound of pencils, markers, etc just soothes my soul!

Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS:
I’ve played the Wii version of Super Smash Bros and enjoyed the game so I decided to get the 3DS version. This game has a variety of characters to choose from past games so you and your friends can play with your favorite fighters (my favorite is Kirby!). Read my full review on SSB here.
October 2014 Nylon Magazine:
I feel like I haven’t picked up an issue of Nylon in forever! I use to be subscribed to them and religiously followed them but over the past few years, I’ve seen them evolve from a cool underground magazine to a wannabe mainstream glossed up booklet. It’s a shame if you ask me. However, when I saw their October cover star was Tavi I had to snatch up an issue (read up on her if you don’t know her, she’s a rad kid) also in this issue they feature Lana Del Rey, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and even talk about Hello Kitty 40th anniversary!

Crochet with One Sheepish Girl:
One Sheepish Girl is one of my favorite crafty blogs that I just swoon over. I don’t know how she did it but Meredith transferred her blog into a crochet book! I remember seeing some of these projects on One Sheepish Girl before and now I can finally crochet them myself! Review here.
Organic Coconut Oil:
I didn’t know whether to feature this in my beauty or lifestyle favorites. Technically it’s a lifestyle product because you can use it multiple ways but I use it for vanity reasons on my face. Yes for the past few weeks I’ve been using coconut oil as a treatment after I moisturize and it’s really improved my skin in many ways!
