☆ It’s so good to be back! Even though I had a wonderful vacation I’m so glad to return to my routine. I’m a person of routine and thrive when I have a schedule to follow. It’s also so good to be back in my cute colorful room with my adorable pup in tow!

☆ I also dearly missed my diffuser! I did pack my diffuser attachment because our Airbnb came with a hairdryer but my attachment didn’t fit their hairdryer. As much as I tried to make it work so I just relied on Mother Nature to naturally dry my hair and boy, I had some really bad hair days! Even though I get annoyed that diffusing takes forever to fully dry my curls I can admit my curly hair always looks amazing afterwards!

☆ Can summer please be over? I can’t take this heat and all those gross bugs everywhere any longer! I want it to be cool and crispy outside!

The summer humidity and my curls just don’t do well together. I recently have starting turning the water to cold when washing my hair, and surprisingly it made my hair look so shiny, and reduced a lot of the frizz! It only looked great the first day, I’m still no master at reducing the frizz day two. That is one thing I’m super excited about the fall-spring. Glad to hear you had a great trip though xx

I love a good cold shower when it’s super hot outside!
Yeah, my curls hate the humidity! I usually apply some gel and scrunch out only a little bit of the cast but leave most of it in to prevent frizz in the summer. I also style my hair half up/down using a claw clip which also helps (I don’t like having my hair all the way up even in the summer! haha). When I visited Florida last summer I did this and was able to keep my curls from looking too crazy. ♥
