Dear Diary, #1

Welcome to my new weekly series of the year! I’ve always wanted to post a diary-style type of post so why not now, right? They’re still going to be quick posts with just 1-3 tidbits about my week and blurbs about some of the things I’m loving at the moment. I hope you look forward to ‘Dear Diary’ every Friday in 2020!

What Happened This week
I returned to school after a weeklong holiday break. Later this month, we have our midterm and I’m slightly freaking out!

Moment of the week
Doing so much adult stuff! I went to the Seoul immigration office and submitted documents to get my alien registration card which you need if you plan on staying in Korea for a long time. I also paid my rent for the second month in Korea and did some much-needed grocery shopping.

Current favorites
Loving: T-money stickers. In Korea, they have these card-shaped stickers that you can stick to your boring transportation card to make them cuter! Such a brilliant idea!
Feeling: Sick
Excited for: Bigbang’s comeback! They’re going to perform at Coachella this year which means they’re going to make a comeback in the next few months! Also performing at Coachella this year is going to be Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Hatsune Miku, and Epik High! Thank goodness for live streams because that’s the only way I’ll be able to see all of their performances.
Working on: One of my goals this year is to walk more. I’m obviously in the perfect city to walk in but I really need to confront my laziness first. haha
