What I Got For Christmas 2025

When I was younger, and even into my 20s, I would always anticipate Christmas Day to open our gifts and see what my family members bought off my wishlist. However, as I’ve gotten older, I find that I’m more excited to gift the items I selected for my loved ones rather than to receive gifts from them. Especially my handmade gifts! Every year, I make gifts for my sisters, and I can’t wait to see their reaction to the things I’ve personally crafted for them! This year, I gifted my younger sister a Bratz Baby Jade doll along with a Bratziez-inspired kitty onesie keychain! For my older sister, I made her an Oracle deck inspired by our family dog, Lucy!
Anyway, this post isn’t about what I made, but rather what I received from my loved ones over Christmas. As always, I am torn whether or not to post this type of blog post after Christmas. On one hand, I think it’s interesting to track what gifts I got from what year and by whom. On the other hand, I don’t want to come off like I’m bragging or anything. I know I’m very fortunate to have loved ones so generous enough to gift me presents. I know not everyone has a family to celebrate or money for gifts, or etc. I’m extremely grateful for my family and everything they’ve done and given me, so in a way, this post is an application post for them. lol
However, if posts like this offend you or make you feel a certain way, feel free to skip this blog post. I’ll be back on Wednesday with a different post.

The gift giving started on Christmas Eve. We played some games, and I was lucky enough to win two beauty Advent calendars! One focused on reusable beauty tools like a silicon sheet mask, ice roller, silicone eye patches, etc. The other one was a makeup Advent calendar with makeup from the beauty brand MCoBeauty. I have never heard of this brand before, but they came with a lot of interesting products that I cannot wait to test out. But I forgot to take pictures of these items. Sorry!
From my mother, I received a set of Christmas Hello Kitty pajamas and a Hello Kitty hoodie. From my father, I received a white puffy designer coat. They both also got me a gift card and money. In my Christmas stocking, I also received a bunch of Christmas candies and beauty goods. I’m very thankful for everything I received from my parents.

From my older sister, I received Hello Kitty Island Adventure for the Nintendo Switch and a Sanrio blind box. I knew I was getting these two things because I was with her when she bought them. I was actually surprised I got the My Sweet Piano plushie that I wanted! I also thought it was quite cute that the blind box was called “sisters’ outfit”, very fitting. My older sister also gifted me a Target toy basket and some beauty stuff.
My younger sister and nephew gave me a bunch of cute stickers, a Marie hair clip, and a physical copy of Mexican Gothic, which I read earlier this year. Thank you to my sisters and nephew for the gifts!
