TWICE Valentine’s Day Cards ♥ Crochet Pattern

Since crocheting the BT21 plushies I was inspired to incorporate more K-pop into my crochet patterns because crochet and Kpop are two of my favorite things! I came up with this Valentine’s Day cards featuring members from the popular girl group, TWICE! I chose TWICE because they’re cute and have the catchiest songs! For these cards, I choose two of my favorite songs from TWICE, Likey and Heart Shaker. Pluss these songs suit Valentine’s Day perfectly!

Supplies
– G/4.25 mm crochet hook (my favorite hook)
– Pink worsted weight yarn
– Light pink worsted weight yarn
– Slanted tapestry needle (I use these)
– Blank notecards (the thicker the better)
– Felt
– Tape runner or double-sided tape (optional)
– Glue (this is my favorite)
– Scissors

Aberrations
ch(s) – chains
st(s) – stitch(es)
slst – slip stitch (same as join)
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
flo – front loop only
blo – back loop only
cc – color change
dec – decrease (same as sc2tog) (single two st together)
inc – increase (make 2sc in a single st)
RS – right side/front side
WS – wrong side/back side
(x_) – repeat (_) amount of times
[x_] – repeat everything inside the [_] times amount of times

CARD
With G hook and pink yarn
Row 1: ch 16 sts, sc 15 sts. Total = 15 sts
Rows 2-24: ch 1, sc 15 sts. Total = 15 sts
Cut off and weave ends

LACE DETAILS
To make the “lace” or scallop detail. Insert your hook to where you cast off your card with a slst.
ch 5, skip 2 sts, (repeat all the way around the card)
Cut off and weave ends.

ASSEMBLY
Tape or glue 2-3 normal blank cards (or 1 thick card) together and glue to the crocheted card, press lightly and leave out to dry.

Choose your favorite TWICE member and reference a picture because it will help when cutting out the shapes in the felt. I choose Momo for the ‘Likey’ card and Tzuyu for the ‘Heart Shaker’ card. After you’ve cut out all of the pieces with felt, glue everything down and press lightly to secure and leave to dry. Make sure your cards are completely dry before you hand them out to your loved ones. Happy Valentine’s Day!
