Heart Applique Sunglass Pouch โฅ Crochet Pattern

Since it’s still summer, I decided to make a project perfect for summer, a sunglasses pouch! The pouch itself is easy to make, so I also made a cute sunglasses applique and attached it to the center of the pouch. You can use this pouch/sleeve for anything, but I obviously used it for my sunglasses, hence the heart-shaped sunglasses design. lol

Repeat on the other heart, but on the oppositeย side. With black felt, cut out two black hearts to use as the lens of the glasses. Attach with glue and leave to dry.
To attach the sunglass lens, insert your hook into the 6th st from the center of the hearts with a slst.
sc 2 sts, ch 1, turn, sc 2 sts
Cut off and leave a long tail for sewing
Use the yarn tail to sew the bridge of the sunglasses onto the other side.

ASSEMBLY
If you would like to line your pouch, now would be the time. I used a thick, soft piece of felt to prevent scratches on my sunglasses. Fold the long pouch piece in half, and sew the sides to create the pouch. Use black yarn, ch 50, and cut off. Tie knots at both ends of the chain piece. Place the chain piece at the top opening of the pouch and fold 1-2 rows over the chain piece and sew so that the chain can fit snugly inside. This will be how you close your pouch. Attach the sunglasses to the center of the pouch.
How do you store your glasses?
