Pastel Marshmallow Knot Dog Toy โฅ Crochet Pattern

The other day, I was walking down the grocery store when I came across one of those twisty dog treats but this one was pastel-colored! Instead of buying these snackiez for Lucy, I got the idea to crochet a toy for her inspired buy these treats! Lucy used to have a twisted rope toy when she was a puppy, which she loved! However, she detangled it. So, this was the perfect time to create a replacement for her!
Make sure to check out my other dog toy crochet pattern, chocolate strawberry pattern. Should I crochet more items for dogs/pets?

ROPES (MAKE 4)
With H hook and yarn (make one for each yarn color)
Row 1: ch 6 sts, sc 6 sts. Total = 6 sts
Rows 2-51*: ch 1, sc 6 sts. Total 6 sts
Row 52: [dec 1 st, sc 1 st](x2). Total = 4 sts
Cut off and leave a long tail for sewing
*You can adjust the size of the ropes based on your pup’s preference

ASSEMBLY
After you’ve crocheted four ropes, it’s time to attach them! Sew two of the ropes together, repeat to the other two ropes, sew the two sets to each other to create one piece. You can apply a dollop of hot glue to the center of the ropes to help keep the ropes in place, but be careful not to add too much or that the glue is visible. You don’t want your pup to digest the hot glue!
Create two knots on each end of the rope toy to make the signature tie dog toy. Gentlyย twist the spaces between each knot and sew to secure the twists. Repeat until you’ve reached your desired look.
Do you have any pets?
