☆ I voted early this week! I’m SO READY for this election to be over with but we still have a week before the US decides on a new president and I really hope that we finally get our first female president.
★ How To Tap Into Your Creativity With Crafter Martina Calvi
☆ I tried the flip coat scrunch method on my curly hair. This is a simple routine that you start as soon as you get out of the shower. You shampoo and conditioner as normal and then you flip your head over and apply your hold product of choice (a gel or mousse) rake the product in your hair scrunch with a curl-friendly towel and diffuse. I applied a leave-in and brushed it through because my curls are prone to tangle easily. I didn’t have high hopes for this routine but the result came out amazing! This has been the easiest curly-hair routine I’ve found so I wanted to share it with my fellow curly girls in case you don’t know of this routine.
★ ILLIT – Cherish (My Love)
☆ This week I really tapped into my crafty side! I worked with paint a lot and tried out some DIY projects that I’ve been wanting to try out for a long time. Some of these projects were successful whilst others were flops. I started off the week by trying out this candle DIY using toilet paper rolls (my favorite project) and also tried out this incense cone recipe, the incense cones were a fail. In the middle of the week, I tried out this sweet potato muffin recipe, they didn’t come out either. I also painted my Blythe doll stand, an eye-shaped mirror, and a cow figure. Lastly, I tried out the viral dog art painting with Lucy, I even filmed the process! It came out so cuter than I thought it would and she even left a little heart! It’s her artist’s signature! haha
★ aespa- Whiplash
☆ I updated my crochet page. Whilst doing this I realized that I have so many crochet patterns that I need to edit so one of my blog goals for the remainder of the year is to fix those blog posts. I will try my best to film some of the process but filming crochet videos is such a production for me so we will see.
