☆ What did you all buy during Prime Day? I bought this Centella serum, purple sunscreen, and a dewy tint lip stain. I still haven’t received the last two beauty items, but I’m really excited to test them out!

★ NewJeans – NewJeans

☆ On Wednesday morning, Lucy woke up and was vomiting all morning and wouldn’t eat anything, not even her favorite treats. When I picked her up to go to the vet, she felt lifeless, and that broke me. We took her to the vet, where they took some blood tests, and after a few hours, they said that it was due to her pancreatitis. Thankfully, everything ended up being all right. Her vet gave her some shots and some medicine to give her, which I’ve been giving her the past couple of days. As soon as we left the vet, she was back to her normal self. The whole day was an emotional blur, and I may have lost it a couple of times, but I’m so so thankful that she’s alright.

☆ I get a Kindle! I was highly influenced by Michelle to get a Kindle. During Amazon’s Prime Day, I asked for a Kindle Paperwhite as a birthday gift, and I got one! Earlier this week, I published what I read this year, and in that post, I mentioned that I was reading e-books more, so I feel like getting a Kindle is a nice upgrade.

★ ODD EYE CIRCLE – Air Force One

☆ Today is the day. The dreaded day, my 30th birthday. For the past few years, I’ve been trying to convince myself that I was already 30 so by the time I reached my 30th I would be prepared but it’s just so weird. I know it’s just a number and I shouldn’t care but it’s kind of hard not to. I mean, it’s a whole new chapter! A new era in my life. It’s funny when I was younger I never thought I would reach my mid-20s let alone my 30s! Cheers to a new set of years that will hopefully turn out to be better than my 20s.
