☆ Earlier this week, I rebooted my crochet Instagram username from mooeyscrochet to mooeyscreations. When I started that IG page, I wanted it to be one place where I displayed all my crochet work, kind of like my crochet portfolio. However, I have various other crafty hobbies, and I want to use that account to share all of my creations, not just the crochet ones. Though I will probably still post a lot of crochet projects. I also plan on posting more on there going forward. I’ve already posted a few reels this week and plan to start posting on there regularly. Like my Blythestagram, I’m just going to have fun with it and not really care about the numbers. I debated starting from scratch but voted against it because I already have too many Instagram accounts as is, so I just changed the name to mooeyscreations instead. It’s also a nod to my previous blog name. Were any of you following me when my blog was called A Colorful Creation?

☆ I bought a copy of this really cute booklet called ‘80s Girly Magazine Ad Collection, which features kawaii advertisements from 80s Japanese magazines. The book features different ads from themes such as snacks, cosmetics, travel, stationery, fashion, toys, etc. They even have a whole section just for Sanrio advertisements! I love looking at all the cute graphic design of all the ads from years past. Cute images and illustrations inspire me so much! This book is such a cute treasure to have, and I’ve been enjoying flipping through the pages absorbing inspiration.
