☆ Over the weekend, we celebrated my older sister’s birthday, which was back in mid-May. However, a lot of us were traveling around that time, so we decided to wait until all of us had time and threw my older sister a birthday party. We even had a piñata! My nephew has been obsessed with piñatas because he’s been attending a lot of kids’ birthday parties that involve piñatas, so we thought it would be cute to have a piñata at my older sister’s party, even though she is 36. My younger sister had saved a dinosaur piñata that was meant for my nephew’s last birthday party, but forgot to bring it out, so we just went ahead and used it. I’m proud to report that I was the one who was able to crack a hole into the dinosaur’s leg and free the candy!

★ SHINee – Atmos

☆ I found a tarot deck that I’ve been wanting for a looooong time on Depop for $5! There was a high chance that it was a knockoff, but I took the chance because the deal was too good to pass up. It was a knockoff. However, the quality isn’t that bad. I have a few knockoff decks from the decks that are no longer in production, but I avoid buying knockoff tarot and oracle decks. However, the Bumbleberry Hollows Tarot Deck is still in production, which I highly recommend because the illustrations are sooooooo kawaii! Maybe one day I’ll get the official deck, but for now I’m just going to use this for fun.

★ Awe Psychology (WONDER) with Dacher Keltner

☆ Earlier this week, I had my last session with my therapist. I didn’t see it coming, but I received an email the day before saying that they were leaving the company that’s schedules our sessions. It was so sudden, and I didn’t expect this session to be our last. Just thinking about starting another therapy practice with a new counselor and having to explain all my issues again stresses me out. With that said, I’m going to pause therapy at least for the summer until I sort some things out.

★ MAMAMOO – 4 Flowers

☆ Last week, I mentioned that I bought the book An American Girl Anthology: Finding Ourselves in the Pleasant Company Universe. Since then, I’ve been inundated with American Girl content. They cite all their sources and references and have discovered a lot of new doll creators on dollstagram, TikTok, even dead blogspots! It makes me sad when I see inactive blogs, but it also brings back memories of the oldschool blogger days.
