☆ I’ve been feeling extra creative the past week. I started playing around with watercolors and oil pastels. My older sister also gave me some of her handmade paper that she made a few years ago. I’ve been brainstorming on a spring mood board and wanted to incorporate some pretty backgrounds and textures. Hopefully, I can find some time to create some more elements, so that I can present you all with an updated bulletin board. I haven’t changed my mood board since Halloween!

☆ Since nobody seems to be looking at my Instagram posts, thanks to the all-mighty algorithm, I might as well start having fun! I’ve been trying to make more aesthetically pleasing (though when am I not?) posts, like this one. Not going to lie, it was time-consuming, but fun! A few of you also seemed to enjoy the carousel post, so maybe I’ll make more! It’s sad that we have to put in so much effort into creating posts that people will look at for just a few seconds for the sake of relevance and engagement. I’m very proud of everything I’ve created on my own. I create for myself first and everyone else second. But I also love to be praised (my love language is words of affirmation), and wish more people would pay attention to my creations without doing so much.

☆ Today marks one month since Lucy crossed over to the rainbow bridge. Not a single day goes by when I don’t think about her. I’m still struggling with sleep and trying to maintain an uplighting attitude, but it’s difficult. Some days more than others. I’m trying to keep busy and leaning into my hobbies when my mind starts to think about her, but it’s hard. I know you are all probably sick of having me go on and on about her, so I try not to mention her every week in these posts. I can’t believe it’s already been a whole month since we lost her. It feels like a lifetime since I last held her. I miss her so much!
