I spent my New Year’s Eve reading my 2025 love letter to myself. This is something I picked up from Megan a few years ago. She inspired me to write myself a letter to my future self and chuck it at the back of my bullet journal. For whatever reason, I always get nervous before I read my letter, but afterward, I feel so grateful that my past self wrote the perfect words I needed to hear. I was also surprised to see that I had written two Post-it notes with encouraging words. I’m going to add them to my 2026 bujo!

☆ Speaking of bullet journals, that green journal is my new journal for the year! I’ll be writing a separate post about my journal that I plan to use in 2026, it will be going up later this month. I can’t wait to decorate it with a bunch of kawaii stickers like all my previous bullet journals and share it! This is one of two journals I will be using this year. I’ll be using this one for the first half of 2026 and the second journal (which I’ll buy later in the year) will be for the second half of 2026. Using two journals a year really works for me. What’s your journaling system this year?

☆ Just before New Year’s Eve midnight, I finished my 62nd book of the year! I completely smashed my Goodreads goal of 40 books! I set my Goodreads reading goal to 50 books this time. in the past few years, I’ve read over 50 so I feel like it’s very achievable. I’ll go over the rest of my 2025 reading goals and discuss my new goals in a different post.

☆ Every year, I make my sisters a handmade gift for Christmas. Making things for people is my love language! My favorite thing I created this year was the Lucy Oracle deck! This is a 20-card deck inspired by our Pomeranian puff princess, Lucy! It’s honestly one do the best things I’ve ever crafted, and I was slightly gutted that I had to give it away, I made this deck for my older sister, but I know that she’ll appreciate it and hopefully use it a lot. Maybe it will make an appearance on her YouTube channel!
