☆ After reading Marie Kondo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up last month, I’ve been in a cleaning and organization frenzy! Getting rid of stuff is always difficult for me because, as a creative, I always think that I can repurpose something and, as a result, end up collecting too much ‘junk’. But I’m trying to get better and only saving things if I actually have a project to create. Does anybody else have this issue? I feel like it’s such a strange habit to have. I know some people have no problem throwing things out, but I can’t seem to help saving the second life in certain items.

☆ After I tidied my space a bit, I put up my Halloween decorations! It’s really lightened up my mood and put me in a festive mood. One of my favorite things about spooky season is all the cute decorations like ghosties, pumpkins, skeletons, witches, and all the spoopy adornments that you see this time of year. It’s the little things.
