House Key Cozy ♥ Crochet Pattern

Hi, it’s Michelle from 2025! I’ve been going back to my past crochet patterns and reformatting my old patterns so that they’re easier to understand. I first posted this pattern back in 2015! It was part of my ’12 Days of DIY’ Blogmas series, where I would post 12 DIY projects leading up to Christmas in December. Baby Michelle was sure ambitious! lol
Losing your keys can be really annoying, which is why today’s pattern is on how to crochet a cute little house-shaped cozy for your keys can live in. Hopefully, by creating this cozy home, you’re less likely to forget your set of keys!
If you crochet this project, you can post it on Ravelry or tag me @mooeyscrochet so that I can see your creation. If you would like to support me in making this crochet pattern available for free, you can send me a Ko-fi. ASSEMBLY
To assemble your key cozy, weave your cord through a thick, rounded bead. Once it’s through the bead, weave the cord through the cozy. After, attach your key to the end of the cord. Once everything is tied together, pull downwards on the bead, and the key should be tucked in its new cozy home! Decorate your house key cozy however you’d like. I just added a wooden bead to use as the doorknob. Get creative!
How do you store your set of keys?
