BT21 RJ Plush โฅ Crochet Pattern

When I crocheted my first BT21 plush, I never imagined how popular these posts would become. Itโs amazing! All my BT21 crochet patterns are some of my most popular posts Iโve ever published, so thank you for checking out and making these characters. I’m ending the BT21 series with the final character, RJ.
“Kind and polite, the cutest while mumbling. Wears a parka because it gets cold easily.” Created by Jin of BTS.
I wasn’t looking forward to making RJ because of his lumpy head and body. Sorry to body shame! The head wasn’t that difficult, but his body… Let’s just say it took a couple of tries before I could get the correct shape. RJ is the tallest out of all the BT21 characters, so heโll come out slightly bigger than the rest of the plushies.
When I first started this series, not that many knew of BT21, but now I think they’re much more well-known because Iโve seen a lot of BT21 merch at stores like Hot Topic, Walmart, and Target. I really enjoyed making this series because it meshed together two of my favorite things, crochet and K-pop! Even if you don’t crochet, I hope you enjoyed looking at the plushies. I also have an extra BT21 post coming later, which I think you guys will love, especially if you’re a fan of BT21 and BTS!

ASSEMBLY
Start by sewing RJโs face together, lightly sewing before sewing his head closed. To sew RJ’s body together, start by sewing his legs, arms, and tail to his body. Pin with sewing needles so that the body parts don’t move as you sew. Look at a picture of RJ for reference.
Cut out RJโs face with black felt and light pink felt. To cut out RJ’s scarf, wrap a piece of red felt around RJ’s body first, and then cut. Glue the piece and press lightly.
Who’s your favorite BT21 character?

Thank you for sharing. I love your version of RJ๐
I'm glad you love it! โฅ
Hi! How tall is the results? Gonna making RJ for my friend ๐
It depends on the yarn use you use and your gauge. My RJ plush came out around 7-8 inches. If you want him small or bigger use a small or bigger hook. Can't wait to see how your RJ comes out! Let me know if you have any problems with the pattern. โฅ
