BT21 Cooky Plush ♥ Crochet Pattern

With Easter just days away, I wanted to give you guys a 2-for-1 offer and not only give you another BT21 plush pattern but also an Easter pattern. I actually got the request to make Koya before Cooky, but since Easter falls between March and April this year, I thought I would crochet Cooky first, Koya will be the next though! Even if you aren’t a BT21 or BTS fan, you can still make this bunny and give it as a gift if you celebrate Easter.

Cooky is a “Bunny with a twist who dreams of being strong.” created by Jungkook of BTS. Cooky likes to work out and has impressive muscles and even more impressive eyebrows! haha

Cooky was actually pretty easy to crochet because it doesn’t have any strange body parts that required work. I basically just followed the same body/leg pattern I used on Chimmy and Tata and just crocheted his head and bunny ears.

Supplies
– H/5.00 mm crochet hook (my favorite hook)
– Pink worsted-weight yarn
– White worsted weight yarn
– Polyfil stuffing
– Black felt
– White felt
– Slanted tapestry needle (I use these)
– Glue (this is my favorite no-sew glue)
– Scissors

Aberrations
ch(s) – chains
st(s) – stitch(es)
slst – slip stitch (same as join)
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
flo – front loop only
blo – back loop only
cc – color change
dec – decrease (same as sc2tog) (single two st together)
inc – increase (make 2sc in a single st)
(x_) – repeat (_) amount of times
[x_] – repeat everything inside the [_] times amount of times
FO – finish off
RS- rounds/rows

HEAD
With hook and pink yarn
Round 1: magic circle 7 sts. Total = 7 sts
Round 2: 2sc in each st all around. Total = 14 sts
Round 3: [2sc in each st, sc 1 st](x7). Total = 21 sts
Round 4: [2sc in each st, sc 2 sts](x7). Total = 28 sts
Round 5: [2sc in each st, sc 1 st](x14). Total = 42 sts
Rounds 6-9: Sc 42 sts. Total = 42 sts
Round 10: [dec 1, sc 1 st](x14). Total = 28 sts
Round 11: [dec 1, sc 2 sts] (x7). Total = 21 sts
Round 12: sc 21 sts. Total = 21 sts
Round 13: [dec 1, sc 1 st](x7). Total = 14 sts
*start stuffing*
Round 14: sc 14 sts. Total = 14 sts
Round 15: [dec 1, sc 1 st](x7). Total = 7 sts
Round 16: sc 7 sts. Total = 7
Cut off and leave a long tail for sewing

EARS (MAKE 2)
Round 1: magic circle 7 sts. Total = 7 sts
Rounds 2-8: sc 7 sts (x7). Total = 7 sts
Cut off and leave a long tail for sewing

LEGS (MAKE 2)
With hook and pink yarn 
Round 1: magic circle, sc 8 sts. Total = 8 sts
Round 2-5: sc 8 sts. Total = 8 sts
Cut off and leave long tail for sewing (only for 1st leg)
For the second leg, DO NOT CUT OFF. Attach the second leg by ch 2 sts, slst to a stitch on the first leg. Now you will be creating the body.

BODY
With hook and pink yarn 
Round 1: ch 9 sts, [sc 8 sts, flo sc 2 sts](x2). Total = 20 sts
Rounds 2-9: sc 20 sts. Total = 20 sts
Round 10: [dec 1, sc 1 st](x10). Total = 10 sts
*start stuffing*
Round 11: dec 5 sts. Total = 5 sts
Cut off and leave a long tail for sewing

ARMS (MAKE 2)
With hook and white yarn
Round 1: magic circle 6 sts. Total = 6 sts
Rounds 2-3: sc 6 sts. Total = 6 sts
cc to pink
Rounds 4-7: sc 6 sts. Total = 6 sts
Cut off and leave a long tail for sewing

TAIL
Round 1: magic circle 4 sts. Total = 4 sts
Rounds 2-3: sc 4 sts. Total = 4 sts
Cut off and leave a long tail for sewing

ASSEMBLY
Cooky has a heart-shaped bum, so cut a heart shape in some white felt and then cut a hole in the center of the heart about the size of the tail. Insert the heart-shaped piece through the tail and glue the felt piece down. Sew Cooky’s body together. After you’ve sewn his body together, cut out his face features with black felt and his ears with white felt. Use a picture of Cooky’s face as a reference. Glue everything down with glue. Press lightly to secure.
